    Heart Wall…

Love is in the air…or maybe just on the wall πŸ˜‰ Downtown in NoLita this wall gets a new paint job every season from different artists…over the summer I shot in front of the wall when it was ‘Anna Wintour + Karl Lagerfeld‘ and here I am in front of the wall of hearts (I LOVE all of the bright colors for spring) so naturally I had to wear a bright clue outfit in front of it…ya know to really make the paint job ‘Pop’ πŸ˜‰

Finding gems like this is what I love about NYC. All of the street art and the gorgeous scenery in this great spring weather really makes me realize why I do love NY although I am constantly dreaming of living in LA. I guess you always think the grass is greener on the other side huh?

    Flower Power!

    20140314-110938.jpg

With the weather finally starting to feel like spring, I decided it was about time to start embracing one of my favorite things about my spring wardrobe…flowers! When you think spring you most likely think florals…and in my case neon! I love this look because it is fun, casual and it is the perfect weekend outfit.

This shirt is an oldie but a goodie, scored on clearance at Abercrombie a year ago and to freshen it up I added a white quilted vest from Old Navy. Pair it with some skinny jeans, Steve Madden cognac wedges and a bright neon bag and your ready to take spring head on πŸ˜‰

I always like to dress in a way that’s fun, easy and flirty…a look almost every fashionista can pull off! Plus, one of the best parts about spring is being able to wear color and brighten up everyone’s day with a little neon. On a side note, I’m super happy it’s Friday, TGIF! I am so ready for a relaxing weekend of boot camp classes, spinning classes (wish me luck it’ll be my first time!) and some blog photos! Hopefully the weather holds up so I can do some more spring outfit posts without totally freezing my butt off! Wish me luck πŸ™‚

    A Little Leopard Moment

    20131204-082357.jpg
    Happy Wednesday Fashionistas!

Today is a crazy day for me because it is the first day of the FFANY Shoe Show in NYC! That means work, work, work for me….followed by tons of killer shoes and great pics to share with you all!

I love this look because it is simple yet chic. My go to is always a nice pair of Val or dark wash denim, like these Flying Monkey jeans from Graffiti Boutique. Pair it with a simple white blouse, layer a nice little vest and add a hint of leopard and I’m sold!

I scored these adorable and comfortable leopard pumps at Target…for how much? $8! Yes people, cute footwear doesn’t need to cost a fortune, or at least mine doesn’t πŸ˜‰

    Representing NYC

    20131202-073554.jpg

    Happy Monday all!

Although I live on Long Island I feel working, interning and going to school in NYC makes me a ‘city gal’, therefore I’m proud to be rocking this ‘New York City’ tank! I love this look from Graffiti Boutique that not only is a great weekend look but also a hot date outfit, depending on how you spice it up!

This bright NYC tank adds a little extra ‘pop’ to the acid wash jeans and leather bomber jacket; both of which are fall into winter staples!

    Sweatshirts and Skater Skirts

    20131127-074705.jpg
A new trend this season that I’m falling head over ‘heels’ for is rocking a comfy textured sweatshirt with a skater skirt. It’s a cute and casual look that makes an otherwise ordinary sweatshirt dressy.

I love this sweatshirt from Graffiti Boutique because of the quilted faux leather mixed with the jersey material. In tune with the trend it’s a ‘cropped’ sweater making it ideal for pairing with a high wasted skater skirt like the one I’m wearing!

Nothing makes me happier than wearing a skirt year round. Now by being able to wear fun skirts with sweatshirts you can be warm, cool and casual without having to worry if your look is too ‘springy’.

This is a look I would wear to the office or even on a date, shows a little skin but in a classy way! Pair this look with sneakers, heels or even booties like I did and you can instantly make this outfit work for any occasion!
