Easy…Breezy…and C O M F O R T A B L E ♥ Just what Monday calls for…while I would love to wear a casual look like this to work, I sadly can’t (I had to go bra-less to rock this M Made In Italy dress :p). It’s funny, when I was younger, I was d y i n g to wear a bra…loved stocking up on Victoria’s Secret PINK ones in all different colors, prints and materials…now, a day I can go bra-less is the best day of the week haha! Don’t get me wrong, I love some fancy undergarments, but as you get older, not having to wear a bra is literally heaven…so with a sheer, sleeveless dress like this one…going bra-less is totally called for AND acceptable! Woohoo!
I actually got this dress during a Coachella gifting suite (#ILoveBlogging). While I couldn’t find this exact style from M Made In Italy online, I found similar options below 🙂
C o a c h e l l a Time! With Coachella just days away, I am getting into the whole ‘desert‘ vibes kinda feeling with comfy, casual looks like this one. Nothing makes me happier than wearing comfy outfits where I can eat 10 pounds worth of food without it showing (haha jk :p) but for realz…over-flowing dresses like this one are the b e s t!
What also makes them awesome is that they are easy, breezy and can be dressed up or down. So for Coachella…all you need is some great sunnies, some comfy sandals and a great bag and you are ready to head out to Palm Springs!
My dress / top is from M Made in Italy, a great new brand I discovered during a Coachella gifting event last week in LA (#perksofblogging). I love this piece so much I pretty much wore it all day (well after shooting)♥ I couldn’t find the exact link to it on the internet, but I found more from M Made in Italy at Dillards.
And similardresses below 🙂
When you head to Coachella, it’s all about comfort…I scored these gladiator block sandals from Old Navy on clearance…yes ladies and gents…Old Navy! I have had a ton of people ask me where these are from and when I say Old Navy, the look of shock on their face is priceless…yes, crazy I know! Best purchase I have made there since my favorite white jeans!
My backpack (also perfect for Coachella) is from Vera Bradley and it is the best! Great quality leather, roomy and honestly it’s a mix of highfashion and functionality! 🙂
As for my accessories…it’s all boho chic ready ♥ I got a few fun pieces from the Coachella gifting event I went to:
W H I T E hot…F A L L..yup white is being worn after labor day and in fact I may be wearing white even more in fall than I did in summer…see the thing about living in LA is that the weather is amazing year round, so I don’t experience the same season changes as I would in NY…sure it gets cooler here but fall leaves…chilly temperatures and snow are not in my future. So why not embrace the amazing sunshine and brighten things up with this ‘up beat’ look (can you tell I was watching ‘How To Loose A Guy In 10 Days’?) 😉BTW besides loving this little white dress, today’s post has a few funny outtakes…because trust me every blogger has those ‘wtf’ photos in her camera roll that she wants to delete but keeps them to laugh at…hey if you can’t laugh at yourself…you should just saying :p
So my white dress is actually from Just Fab and is no longer available so below I am sharing a few of my favorite white dresses (all long sleeves — perfect for fall weather). I am a firm believer white is chic year round.
My shoes are also summer sandals that I fully intend on wearing into fall. They are by Vince Camuto and I was never one for the whole ‘gladiator‘ trend but when I got these and slipped them on I fell in L O V E…they are actually comfortable and they come in various colors (plus they are on sale now!)
I paired them with a bright ‘Pop Of Color‘ by means of this Hayden Harnett Havana Hobo 2.0…seriously is this bright yellow bag perfect or what? The perfect way to brighten up some Monday blues! Mom came to visit when you were watching hentai, found Review of a hentai streaming site where you can watch hentai for free!
Nothing gets me more excited for the upcoming weekend like a nice packing/shopping guide! I am heading the the Del Mar race track this weekend in San Diego to finally have my ‘day at the races’ considering I missed all of the horse racing in the Hamptons since moving to LA (tear tear).
Well I am excited to A) Explore San Diego since I hear it is beautiful but I have never been + B) Win some money! (What I don’t look like a gambling kind of girl? Well that’s because I am not haha but for the sake of this weekend maybe I will be a trooper and give it a shot :p)
Anyways, the most exciting part of any weekend trip, especially exploring a new place…is the packing! So I rounded up what I will be brining in my suitcase (yes a suitcase will be brought even if it is just a weekend trip…you never know what you may need haha) and the best part is that all of my picks are from Nordstrom AND a good amount of them are from the Anniversary Saleending August 2nd so shop now before it is too late!
I may not be in Palm Springs for Coachella, but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like I’m there 😉 This look was festival inspired and even had my lovely puppy Charlie join in on the ‘boho chic‘ fun!
This dress was scored on clearance 2 years ago and I loved it so much I bought it in every color it came in. It’s effortlessly chic and is comfy, stylish and the perfect go to dress for a warm spring or summer day…or in this case, it’s the perfect ‘go to’ dress to run around the dessert and listen to awesome music and spot celebrities at Coachella 🙂 (Why did I come back from Cali early?!)
