Only a few days till Christmas and now that all of the shopping is complete let’s get down to the most important part, what will YOU be wearing!

Whether you are heading to a Christmas dinner with family or just doing a casual happy hour with friends, one of my go-to Christmas looks of course involves VELVET (yea, I can’t get enough of it…oops). I scored the perfect holiday look thanks to Old Navy, ICYMI I am OBSESSED with Old Navy + all of their amazing deals + styles. From this cute velvet swing dress to great outerwear I packed for London, they never disappoint a fashionista on a budget.

When I think holidays I always think velvet. Call me crazy, but the luxe feel + look just gives me the warm + fuzzies inside. Luckily, Old Navy has plenty of velvet this season…from shoes, to tops to dresses + more, they have you fully stocked for Christmas, NYE (I styled this dress in black for New Year’s Eve, stay tuned) + beyond!

This velvet dress comes in a few different colors (quantity is sparse online but there is plenty in store) + I also linked to some alternatives below that are short sleeve, long sleeve + even plus size! Velvet for ALL!

My faux fur shawl is a great addition to any holiday look. Simply layer it over a dress, camisole or anything to keep warm + add some chic!

Faux fur heels are my second obsession of the holiday season (and have been for years). I mean, who doesn’t love a little faux fur accents to add some glam to your fresh holiday pedicure? 🙂

What are ya’ll doing for Christmas? I will be snuggling up on the couch opening presents with Mike, accompanied by countless hours of playing UNO, decorating gingerbread man cookies + cooking a yummy Christmas feast!

Merry Christmas ♥

I am back in NY to spend the holidays with my family…so that means cuddling up with the cutest dogs ever (we have two King Charles Cavaliers – follow along on Insta Stories to totally melt – @MissyOnMadison) + plenty of arguing / ball busting…yea my family isn’t the warm and fuzzy kind…much more of the love/hate kind haha Nonetheless, it’s always nice to be back to be home + in a ‘New York State of Mind‘. Before I left for NYC, I headed to Pasadena to shoot this festive holiday look (because seriously, how great is this Christmas tree they have at City Hall?! Kinda amazing!)

I am all about dressing festive for the Holidays…but also comfortably! When I found this green velvet dress from Zaful, I fell in LOVE! It is the perfect dress to slip into no matter what your holiday plans are and the velvet fabric makes it soft to the touch + comfy enough to spend the whole night in!

I clearly have a thing for mixing materials! I am definitely into velvet this season, but I will always be a fan of faux fur as well. These faux fur heels are the perfect combination of sexy + sweet. They add a little festive fun to any look (not to mention they do double as a sexy little pair to wear for date night :p hehe) Gotta love when one pair of heels serve multiple purposes!

My Vera Bradley faux fur clutch is currently on sale + makes for the perfect accessory to add a little sass to any look!

It also comes with a cross body strap for those nights you don’t want to hold a clutch all night long 😉

Daniel Wellington has been popping up all over Instagram so when they asked if I would like to try one of their watches out I figured ‘hey, why not :p‘. Their watches are amazing! Classic, chic + they match with everything perfectly!

Greetings from N Y! It’s the first time I have been back home since moving to LA back in June…crazy I know! Well the weather here in NY has in fact reminded me of why I moved to LA…all of this rain and fog is raining on my parade (literally + figuratively haha)…I wanted to shoot blog photos and clearly that isn’t happening :p But at least that leaves me plenty of time to cuddle up with Charlie! He will be my kiss under the mistletoe 😉My look is pure Christmas! A maroon fit + flare dress paired with a black faux fur vest and some fuzzy heels (because aren’t these adorable?!)…what outfit can be better?! This dress is perfect for work, play, date night + beyond (and since it is a comfy silhouette, you can wear it comfortably all night long).

My black faux fur vest is a winter staple for NY + LA…layer it over a dress, sweater, button down + more to instantly add some ‘chic‘ flare to any look!

I am totally in L O V E with these faux fur heels<3 They are sassy + comfortable…total win/win in my book!! My heels are from JustFab but I also found a similar pair from ASOS here (both options are affordable) 🙂

My signature Holiday bag? The Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag…it’s my affordable alternative to a Chanel (one day I will have the real thing — as soon as I ~~stop~~ having a beer budget hahaha)

And no Holiday look is complete without a little bling and sparkle…I decided to opt for a new trend — this Lariat Necklace (similar)! I have seen this trend all over the red carpet, instagram + countless blogs but I have always been pretty basic when it comes to my bling so this piece made me step outside my comfort zone and boy am I glad I did!
