New Navy + A New Giveaway…

I think it’s about time for a new giveaway don’t you? Well I needed to bring a little excitement to the cold month of January and what better way to do that than by teaming up with Kameleonz…a fun new brand of sunnies that get this…are interchangeable to match your outfit! What fashionista doesn’t love to have her accessories match her look…including her sunglasses!

When Kameleonz reached out to me about collaborating and hosting a giveaway I had to say YES! I am all about accessories and have become increasingly obsessed with colored sunnies like this green pair named ‘Bali‘ (if only they would actually bring me to Bali…haha!). Pair it with a chic white button down blouse and some simple leggings and you are ready for work or play.

Ok…I have become OBSESSED with over the knee boots…I was unsure at first but once I found these beauties at Nordstrom Rack I fell in love… (similar from Light In The Box here). I think slipping on a pair of over the knee boots instantly adds a sense of sexy and really pulls a look together.

I had to rock a little leopard print once again (this Kelsi Dagger bag has been a current crush of mine).

Now to dish on these awesome sunnies…What is cool about these Kameleonz sunnies is that the side pieces are interchangeable. So the sunglasses are sold in sets and can have the side pieces changed amongst 3 different colors to in a way ‘reinvent‘ their look to match your look!

Happy Thanksgiving Loves! Time for some turkey, family time and of course shopping! I can’t believe how Black Friday now became something that starts on Thanksgiving so get ready, get set and start shopping…beginning with my super glammed up look here 😉 Hey why not look spectacular while eating five thousand calories in one sitting right?! My shaggy coat is the perfect holiday gift because A) it’s warm and B) it’s stunning duh! I love it <3 Super snuggly and it’s just the proper dose of glam any look requires. Under my shaggy coat is a simple white Old Navy sweater…a piece that every fashionista needs. As if my shaggy coat wasn’t snazzing up the look enough…I had to add a dash of Carrie Bradshaw with a tulle skirt…this time it’s in black so it can actually be worn for any occasion without seeming ‘Sex and the City’ esq like it looked in pink in my ‘J’adore Friday‘ post here.Can’t go wrong with a little bling 😉 You can shop some of my pieces from my Gift Guide here!I’m wearing my ever favorite Rebecca Minkoff ‘Affair’ Bag…and ladies this makes the PERFECT holiday gift for the fashion lover in your life. Thanksgiving Eve…

Happy Thanksgiving Eve Lovers! Ok, so yes this outfit wasn’t shot recently…I’m guessing it probably got shot about 2-3 months ago (yes…I have outfits stocked up in my iPhoto library from back then!) But when I discovered it I thought it would be the perfect bar hoping or club look for one of the most popular party nights of the year…Thanksgiving Eve! Ok so I’m not sure if the whole idea of going out for ‘Thanksgiving Eve’ is a Long Island thing or an every place thing but either way I truly believe you can’t go wrong with a simple skater skirt…pumps and a moto jacket. Easy, chic and sexy…just what bar or club hopping calls for! My moto jacket is from Karen Kane and while it’s no longer available, I found a similar one from ShopBop on sale here.My skater skirt and leopard pumps are both Target Style finds…which is always a win/win in my book…what gal doesn’t like affordable fashion 😉 Plus a simple black skater skirt and leopard heels are both key pieces for any fashionistas wardrobe.My bag was last year’s Christmas gift to myself…sorry but some of the best gifts are the gifts you give yourself right? 😉 I LOVE the Louis Vuitton Neverfull because it’s an all around go to bag…roomy, great quality and always timeless. Now for the bling factor. Both of my necklaces make perfect holiday gifts! The gold horizontal bar necklace has been a hot trend for the past year and it is a great piece for ladies of any age because it can be worn alone or layered on with other pieces to make a statement. I layered it here with my favorite star necklace because what gal doesn’t like to shine like a star? 😉 P.S. with Thanksgiving tomorrow not only does it mean a big meal but also the beginning of huge holiday sales! Happy Tuesday Lovers! As holiday prep continues one thing almost every fashionista is doing this holiday season is commuting or traveling from place to place to be with family and friends! Well, I got a jump start on what I’ll be wearing to commute around this holiday season (and it may or may not be 100% practical but hey…a girl sometimes needs her heels even when traveling if Beyonce can do it so can we!)One of the ways I commute day to day is via the LIRR (Long Island Railroad). As a Long Islander, if you want to get to Manhattan, JFK or anywhere without encountering traffic…you are usually opting for the train so that’t where today’s outfit shoot took place. My number one issue I have while traveling is outerwear. Because I may be cold waiting for a train, plane or bus…but the second I take my seat I begin to get hot and bothered (and not in a good way! haha) So I decided a lightweight canvas jacket is the way to go. I scored this one on sale at Old Navy and in my opinion this would make a great gift for a relative as well! The next piece of business to take care of…the pants. I hate wearing sweat pants and everyone wears leggings and Uggs while traveling, but hey why not snazz things up a bit with a pair of jeggings like these dark olive ones from Hue (on sale at Macy’s here). Now for the accessories…like I said this look is and isn’t practical. I believe every fashionista needs a convenient little bag that makes a statement. A bag that is great quality, moderately sized and can fit the essentials without being a huge tote that becomes home to everything including the kitchen sink…so my solution? The Ralph Lauren ‘Newbury’ mini bag available in multiple colors here.Ok, ok so maybe I wouldn’t wear these shoes while traveling but they just looked so damn cute with this outfit #SorryNotSorry! I love these camo heels and by the looks of it, the camo shoe trend is one that is taking over. I found camo heels from Carlos Santana, Sole Society and Shopbop (click to shop).A travel essential every gal should have? A great pair of sunnies! Planes, trains and automobiles all require a killer pair of sunnies that make a statement and instantly dress up a simple commuter ensemble. For this look I went with tortoise shell sunglasses like these (on sale from Target).And last but not least…a killer manicure and some sparkling bling! Red nails are always a safe bet for the holiday season and rather than wearing a million different pieces of jewelry, all it takes is one great piece like this Kendra Scott druszy ring (a popular pick for the holidays) available here.| Enter My Elizabeth Arden Giveaway HERE |
