Christmas Eve Glam…

Merry Christmas Eve ladies and gents! Every Christmas Eve my family has the tradition of my siblings and I going to my grandparents house, opening presents and having some quality family time (which due to our busy schedules tends to fall to the wayside). The holiday season is the perfect time to catch up with family, friends and of course…rock some glam pieces from your closet…duh! That’s my favorite part of the holiday season…dressing up 😉 All black everything…jk just my Dora Landa NY Lace & Faux Leather Top and my Catherine Malandrino for Kohls Drop Waist Skirt (which also has hints of lace…can you spot them?). Both pieces are timeless classics and will forever be mixed and matched from season to season.While I went simple with my black on black top and skirt, my accessories definitely added some much need ‘sass‘ to this look. I tend to wear a lot of black around the holiday season because you can always dress it up with the right shoes and handbag and even…jewelry, which is exactly what I did here!My jewelry is from Capwell + Co…scored at a sample sale (both pieces are in my Poshmark closet here + here) because I always try to snag a great deal (luckily with Capwell + Co all of their pieces are affordable!). I found a similar amethyst cuff and amethyst ring (both on sale now) here + here.I instantly fell head over ‘heels’ for A) this gorgeous purple bow bag that is (drumroll please) from Target! + B) these stunning leopard ‘Valentino Rockstud’ inspired pumps (available in my Poshmark closet here).Skirts or dresses are always my go to when it comes to getting ‘glam’ for any occasion and yes that even includes family affairs for Christmas 😉 What girl doesn’t love to play dress up when given an excuse?On a side note…I am SUPER excited to share that Christmas came a little early for me…I got a pretty awesome present and in true ‘Christmas’ fashion, I won’t reveal it till tomorrow when I share some present sharing glam on the blog 😉 So check back tomorrow to unwrap my exciting gift that guess what…will keep on giving!| Click To Shop My Look |

Holiday Dressing…Black + White

Happy Wednesday Lovers! Time to share a look for one of my favorite times of year to dress for…the holidays! Ok, so I may not love the ~~cold~~ NY weather and I ~~may~~ or may not end up buying more gifts for myself than others (~~oops~~ but hey with the amazing deals happening this time of year I can’t resist) but one part of the holiday season I do like? Dressing up…duh!You can never go wrong with a simple black and white ensemble…timeless, elegant and perfect for any holiday party (even the work holiday party that you always rush around trying to find an outfit for…don’t worry I know how it goes 😉 )Let’s first start with a simple white wrap blouse like this one from Dora Landa NY. I love this blouse because it is flattering on every figure and in addition to a crisp white look (which can even be worn to the office!) it has black lace detailing that adds a little glam for a sweet holiday look.Skirt wise I opted for a black bandage skirt…once again it is a piece that can be worn well past the holiday season and it can be dressed for work or play. While I honestly can’t remember where or when I got this skirt, I found a similar skirt here (for under $50). Ok as for my accessories let’s get down to it. I am obsessed with this Michael Kors bag (similar here)..the python pattern is so unique and it’s the perfect clutch that doubles with a shoulder strap to wear for any holiday bash.And behold…my solution to the Valentino Rockstud Pumps…these gorgeous black suede studded pumps from Necessary Clothing and guess what? They cost under $30!!! Yes ladies…affordable and comfortable…win/win 😉As for what to wear jewelry wise?
