This is what I am wearing to the office today…NOT! Trust me I am counting down the seconds till I could slip on some shorts and sandals once again, but for now I will have to relive some sunny moments with these photos from one of my outfit shoots in Florida (if you missed my previous Florida posts check them out here + here). The weather was perfect, not too hot…not too cold, just right…The perfect weather to mix a cropped sweater, shorts + of course sandals (how great are these white ankle strap sandals…I can’t wait to wear them all spring/summer long, PS you can get them for under $50 below)!
This white sweater was a staple of mine in Florida because it would be brisk in the morning, warm in the afternoon and then slightly cooler in the evening so this sweater came with me everywhere (a gal has to be prepared at all times :p).My accessories were staples for my trip as well. Simple white sandals can be worn with jeans, shorts, skirts or dresses, so they are a great option to bring when traveling to a warmer climate (which is pretty much anywhere other than New York #GetMeOutOfHere). My bag is from Coach a few years back but I found two similar cross body options here + here. And of course some bling is always in order…I layer this skull necklace over everything + yes, I am totally obsessed with these blue Ray Bans which were a Birthday gift from my parents right before I left for my trip.
So in actuality I am bundled up in layers…warm pants, sweaters, vests and more…pretty much yesterday’s outfit post but hey it’s fun to have a little ‘throwback‘ moment every now and then right? :p| Click To Shop + Share My Look |
It’s My BIRTHDAY! After having a blast at Disney World this past weekend (check out my Disney travel diary from yesterday here) I am happy to be back in New York (minus the snow and icky weather of course) and back at work to celebrate my birthday with my family and friends 🙂 While in Florida soaking up some sunshine I had fun doing some outfit shoots with Sarah and her photographer Whitney…one of them being this adorable Birthday shoot to celebrate the big day today! Every year my Birthday has honestly never went as planned…there was always a snow storm, a Super Bowl party or something that got in the way…While New York did have another snow storm (naturally) it extended my Florida stay an extra day…not too shabby I guess right? 😉 Well as we all know I LOVE color so I was so thrilled when my lovely friends over at Carolinna Espinosa sent me an early Birthday surprise…these Canarsie Coral + Tan Leather Peep Toe Heels! I love the color so much I went crazy and ordered this coral colored romper from ASOS (#ShoppingAddict #SorryNotSorry). I was never one for rompers but after layering my white boyfriend blazer over it + belting it (LOVE this Fossil Belt) I deemed it as ‘do-able’ 😉
I got a little Birthday gift for myself a week early (still counts as a gift right? haha) I LOVE a pop of color so this blue face Michael Kors watch is the best, especially for me…plus it’s an extra hue to add to my purple, pink and coral ensemble. Another accessory I can’t live without is my Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag.
I’m spending my Birthday with the family…probably the traditional cake, cards and presents…sometimes a little relaxation after a fun filled vacation is needed 🙂
My buddies here in Disney want to wish you a Magical Monday! While I should be sitting at my desk right now prepping for tomorrow’s huge Sample Sale and my BIRTHDAY…I am currently stuck in Disney for an extra day (so tragic I know…NOT!). My flight got canceled due to some more snow in New York…fine by me…I will stay here…with my character friends, eating some Mickey shaped treats and relaxing under the palm trees…
This photo was taken at my favorite Disney restaurant…Chef Mickey! I have been going there since I was five years old so I felt it was only suiting to celebrate my birthday there (stay tuned to the blog tomorrow to celebrate my birthday with a little celebration in Celebration, Florida! PS Balloons are involved!)
I can’t get over the perfect weather…not too hot yet not too cold and the gorgeous blue skies…it truly feels magical!
‘It’s A Small World’ has been one of my go-to rides since I was a child (want to hear a little secret? It’s my mom’s FAVORITE ride). Naturally I had to snap a pic of this shop inside Disney Hollywood Studios…it’s Vogue…duh! Like What I Am Wearing At The Park?

With my Birthday trip to Disney just 9 days away I figured I may as well start mentally preparing in my head with a little Warm Weather WishList (because in my mind spring in NYC is actually right around the corner, right?). I can’t believe how soon stores start getting in pieces for seasons to come…in August Halloween stuff is put out, in October Holiday decorations are on display and here we are in January…with spring and summer wear ready for me to snag for an impromptu trip to Florida!
I loved putting this little collage together because spring and summer wear is my forte…if I could run around in wedges, dresses and floppy hats all day I would (if only NYC allowed that!)…so while I am far from a Photoshop pro (this probably took me an hour to do) I was so excited to share some pieces I am lusting after with you all!
