    I hope ya’ll had a great weekend + are ready for a fun week ahead! My boo + I are busy working with some photoshoots on the side hehe…perks of blogging, the need for content is endless :p Even when we are busy shooting looks or campaigns, my boyfriend + I always make time for date night. Whether it’s going to dinner or cooking at home, I like to dress up for the occasion and one accessory I always wear?…my signature jewelry pieces.

    As I have gotten older, I learned that having amazing quality jewelry is something that will last a lifetime. Timeless pieces that match with any look is something every gal should have. While I love trendy ‘in style’ pieces, I still have a soft spot for quality gold, diamonds + gem stones. They always look stunning and are just classic.

    A timeless classic that’ll never go out of style is wearing your birthstone. Since my birthday is this month, my birthstone happens to also double as my favorite color…amethyst! I personally wear my birthstone everyday in the form of this chic ring from Macy’s that I bought myself back in high school (yes, sometimes you need to treat yourself 😉 right ladies?)

    I feel a birthstone is a piece of jewelry every fashionista should wear, it’s simple and understated. Whether you wear it as a necklace, a bracelet or even a ring, it’s bling that tells a little about you, or at least says when you were born! These pieces below are some of my favorites from the amethyst birthstone this month. #1..the David Yurman bracelet is on my ‘lust‘ list that needs to become a ‘must’ 😉 It’s a classic that I feel every gal needs to have in her jewelry rotation…and soon it’ll hopefully be in mine!
