I am gearing up for a festive NYE complete with club bed + DJ pillow :p hehe What can I say, my boo + I aren’t big party people so we will be enjoying watching the ball drop in our pjs following a romantic dinner. Even though we are just heading to dinner, I love to get dressed up + make a splash (or should I say…sparkle hehe) so I will be rocking this look for New Year’s Eve.
I have been wanting a sequin blazerFOREVER + when I got this beauty I fell in love. My BF looked at me like I was crazy but I assured him with the right outfit…it will work 😉
I had to let the blazer do the talking so I paired it with my trustee lace trim camisole (a perfect layering piece for every gal’s wardrobe) + faux leather leggings. These leggings are my absolute FAVORITE. I wear them for date night, girl’s night + all the time basically – they are flattering on pretty much every body type + can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
For some added ‘bling‘ factor I pulled the whole look together with my fav Gucci Pearl Belt (another must-have if you ask me :p).
Happy M O N D A Y loves ♥ I hope you all had a great weekend! I finally got to catch up with my bestie who I haven’t seen in forever + naturally what did we choose to do? Take outfit pictures lol…We get a bit crazy on Sundays, what can I say hehe 😉 Isn’t it funny the things you choose to do with your bestie? For some reason Samie + I find it fun to either A) Relax in Palm Springs (which is where we are off to this weekend to celebrate her birthday!) or B) Take outfit pictures, occasionally another option happens C) Outfit pictures in Palm Springs haha A combination of both!
Whether it’s exploring new walls in DTLA or heading out to Palm Springs for a colorful door crawl, Samie + I bond over outfits, photography + our obsession for getting that perfect ‘money shot’ (which in our world means, the pic you will post on Instagram haha). Yesterday was one of those outfit filled days + that’s when I got to sport my new floral kimono from Tobi.com!
This lightweight kimono is perfect to layer over a chiffon camisole to beat the summer heat in LA! Whether you are heading to brunch with girlfriends, dinner with your boo or even the office, this floral kimono instantly adds a little extra something to an ordinary outfit. I opted to pair this kimono with a blush camisole + white skinny jeans for Sunday Funday brunch with Samie.
You can snag this kimono now from Tobi.com for 50% Off!! You know I LOVE a good sale + lucky for me, Tobi has great deals all the time…meaning I can snag stylish pieces at an affordable price point!
I love this little Louis Vuitton Toiletry Pouch but to wear as a clutch! It fits all my essentials + matches with everything, making it a great bag to wear for any occasion.
I also have a slight obsession with ankle strap heels, so it comes as no surprise that I have them in white (I also have them in nude, black, leopard print, pink, yellow + green haha) :p
It feels like the S P R I N G season! To be honest it actually feels like summer here in LA (it’s been almost 90 degrees all week #craycray)! Anyways, I am already looking forward to the weekend (it’s been one heck of a week) and I can’t wait to head to Palm Springs for a little girls weekend getaway!! I feel like I’ve needed a vacay for a while now and heading away for a mini getaway is just what I’ve been needing! Plus with a Palm Springs trip that means I get to wear tons of color + summer ready pieces!
I love pastels year round, but when I got this All For Color turquoise kimono I fell head over heels :p It can be added as an extra Pop Of Color or worn as a cover-up / shawl over swimwear! I will be packing it this weekend for Palm Springs to wear by the pool :p
The toughest thing after a nice relaxing weekend is heading back to the normal ‘rise + grind’ on a Monday. No matter how long you are working for, the struggle never gets easier and it is in fact ‘real‘ 😉 I spent this past weekend in Palm Springs (if you follow me on SnapChat you got to see my random shenanigans…and if you don’t follow me well now you should duh! — this way you don’t miss out next time hehe – MissyOnMadison). After relaxing by the pool in the middle of a 90 degree desert it kind of made me never want to leave (can you blame me?)…although I would have loved to stay forever…I had to come back to reality…LA.
