Happy Monday Lovers! I had quite a busy weekend filled with outfit shoots, Long Island adventures and some fun new blog concepts…but I think I should run some of them by you guys to see what you think…but first let’s break down this little look I’m rocking today. Gingham is a great print for fall…especially when it’s affordable like this button down top from Target. My top and pale pink skirt are both Target Style finds…now that’s guilt free shopping! What I love about gingham is that you can dress it up or dress it down depending on the occasion…I love it layered with jeans for a casual look or for a more dressed up look, simply pair it with a light weight skirt like I did here. My monogrammed clutch is from GiGi NY and it comes it countless hues and is a great going out back that adds a pop of color to any ensemble. Pale pink pumps?…Umm yes! These beauties are from NYLA…unfortunately they are a bit too small on me so you can actually score these straight from my Poshmark closet for a fraction of the actual retail cost. Once again rocking my Kendra Scott druszy ring…I think I am slightly obsessed…oops! Now to share my idea with you guys…it seems that the wave of the future or rather now is being a video ~~vixen~~ (not in THAT way…) but rather stepping in front of the camera and chatting away rather than just taking pretty pictures. So after some talking with my brother aka my photographer we came up with an idea of doing an ongoing video series to accompany my blog…what do you guys think? Are videos the way to go? What kind of videos would you like to see?! Playful Print…

Happy Thursday Loves! Whether it’s the dead of winter or the hottest day over the summer, one trait I always include in my looks is color! Season to season, colorful hues and playful prints have been a staple for every gal’s wardrobe (including at this past NYFW for SS 15). The key to wearing print properly is to mix and match a top and bottom that mesh well together. I love this yellow and blue aztec print skirt from Target because there are so many ways to style the fun print. Today I’m rocking it with a dark wash chambray pullover from Old Navy, but last time I wore it I rocked silver pumps and a simple black bandeau…a little risky but hey I opted for sexy that day…today’s version…strictly business 😉My black leather clutch was a clearance find at Last Call Neiman Marcus…they have been my go to for handbags on a budget without forgoing on quality or the designer label. Most of my favorite handbags from them however have been their own line of bags from the ‘Neiman Marcus’ collection. They are usually designer inspired and at a fraction of the price! I also feel a ‘professional’ look must be completed with the perfect planner to keep me on track for the day, my personalized date book is from Graphic Image NY. My black suede pumps are essential for fall and for the office. Steve Madden has them is so many different versions…colors, shape, heel height…but these ones are my favorite. On a side note…while I love this outfit, I’m also loving how my hair was actually well behaved in these photos…don’t you love when that happens?
