It’s finally here! Happy 4th Of July Weekend everyone ♥ If you couldn’t tell from this first shot, I am beyond excited for the holiday weekend…not because of getting to relax and get a much needed break, but because my little brother is in town for the next 2 weeks so that means…unlimited outfit shoots (oh how I missed him + his awesome photography skills…this is the first outfit of many that he shot so far :p), fun adventures (we are hitting up all the celeb hot spots) + best of all…getting to spend the holiday weekend with family since I haven’t seen anyone since Christmas when I went back to NY to visit! Seeing my little bro has been long overdue 🙂

Since it is 4th Of July weekend that means a Red, White + Blue outfit of course! I LOVE comfy swing dresses for summer because they are an easy go-to + can be dressed up or down for any occasion (I am always running errands in them, dressing them up for date nights or just styling them like this for a little adventure)!

I found this striped dress at Burlington + found some other similar options below as well 🙂

My bling babe Marrin Costello sent me this gorgeous necklace that I have become completely obsessed with! It is easy to layer with any outfit + is a total statement piece ♥

Stepping into Spring in Style…you know that’s just how I do :p OK…jk…too much rap music on the way to work in the morning haha! For real now, I am loving the idea of a ‘short suit‘ (especially a white one) for spring! I know #AllBlackEverything is always on point, but I am kinda digging a new trend…#AllWhiteEverything (maybe it will catch on…thoughts?) 🙂

With Easter just days away, I decided why not share a look that doesn’t involve a dress (although I shared my top dress picks yesterday, here) ? I mean who decided a dress was the proper thing to wear for Easter brunch or family time? If you ask me…holiday time is the perfect time to make a statement…what better way to make a statement than to stand out in a clean, crisp look like this one (and of course, bright, colorful accessories are in order :p)

Let’s break down how to get an All White Look –> 1. A chic white boyfriend blazer (perfect spring into summer essential…for work, play + beyond) 2. A simple white chiffon camisole (like this one from TopShop — matches with everything) AND 3. White cotton shorts (dress them up, dress them down…either way…they are a ‘must have’).

#OutTake moment :p That’s what I love about shooting with friends…they always make me laugh haha! Makes for great impromptu photo ops like this one!

These nude ankle strap sandals are great for year round (especially in LA) they can be worn with absolutely everything! Helps take the guess work out of outfit pairing in the morning 😉

My bag is the definition of spring — Pastel colorblock hues, floral design and a great leather material…I am slightly obsessed (ok…very obsessed haha) with this Nicole Lee USA bag (an LA native like myself)!

It’s crazy to think I have been living here in LA for a little over 2 months now. Every morning I wake up to sunshine, great weather and oh yea…plenty of traffic :p Besides the traffic part sucking, Cali is indeed pretty awesome. I get to have a new backdrop for my colorful outfits and I can turn my beach wear into ‘going out’ wear which is exactly what I did today with this turquoise cover up from Liz and Honey! When I got this in the mail I knew I would be turning it into a dress (that drastic v plunging neckline is ideal for date night don’t ya think?) Plus it is the perfect piece to wear for a day at the beach and then an impromptu happy hour or dinner!

Happy Monday Loves! What a weekend! I went grape stomping for the first time ever…inspired by ‘I Love Lucy’ ;), did some fun outfit shoots with new fall looks and began prepping for the Posh Party on Poshmark I will be hosting tomorrow (two of the pieces I’m wearing in today’s post are actually for sale on Poshmark!) My top is an oldie but a goodie from the Prabal Gurung for Target collab a year ago…what can I say I love the fun print and colors for fall! I also had to add my mirrored aviators because in my mind they will never get old. My black distressed skinny jeans are from Pink Basis {item #1 listed on Posh 😉 } I love these jeans because of the distressed design which is so great for fall…they just happened to be a little too long on me…I’m a shortie at 5’4! Nothing brings out the color of this shirt better than a red bag…especially from my favorite handbag designer Rebecca Minkoff. I love this red ‘Mini Mac’ bag for nights out or day trips! One of my favorite shots from today’s look…I have moments where I feel sexy 😉 Isn’t that the whole point of fashion? To feel comfortable and confident in your own skin?
