Valentine’s Day is just around the corner + I am taking time to soak up every little bit of love around me. One of my favorite types flowers are roses, makes sense since my middle name is rose (fun fact) so it made sense I had to style this Tadashi Shoji Rose Print Tea Length Dress for Valentine’s Day (can you get any more romantic?) ♥

I love the romantic print of this dress. I think it is great to wear to for date night, a winter wedding or any special occasion. The rose print just gives it an elegant + classy feel for my + to let the print take center stage, I paired this gorgeous dress with neutral shoes, bag + accessories.

The length of this dress is great to dress up + make a statement. When I slipped it on I felt like I was heading to the Met Gala haha That is what I love about Tadashi Shoji…his designs are impeccable + are just the right amount of glam.

I invested in this Gucci mini bag a few years back + wear it all the time when I go out. It is the perfect size for when you are heading out or going to a special event.

These black patent leather heels are a must-have for every gal’s wardrobe. They are classic, match with everything + will last you years!

Happy Tuesday Lovers! Today I am the lady in the red…wearing Vince Camuto of course! I’m OBSESSED with this red wool coat for fall from Lord & Taylor. When I saw it in the store I fell in LOVE…like heart racing, butterfly kind of love…can you see why?It’s cozy, comfortable and eye catching…the perfect piece to turn heads this fall! A great coat is always essential for fall and this one takes the cake. As you all know, I love a pop of color and this baby does the trick! Let me flash ya all…under this great coat I’m rocking a black chiffon cami dress from Nordstrom. I love the fit and how it can be dressed up or down for any occasion…got to love a LBD! On a side note, the inside of this red coat is leopard print pattern…can you say AMAZINGGG! My taupe suede clutch is a clearance find from Last Call Neiman Marcus. A simple clutch is always a must, especially in a neutral hue that can be worn from season to season like taupe. Mirrored aviators once again…sorry not sorry. These babies are great to match with red, orange or yellow shades because of the warm mirrored tints. My black bedazzled T strap pumps are from Nine West, but I found a similar style from Michael Kors here. I love these pumps because they aren’t just full of glitz and glam…but they are also comfortable…bonus! I definitely plan on wearing this coat into Manhattan for all of my press previews this week…the Big Apple needs a little extra red don’t ya think? 😉Shop My Look <3

Happy Thursday loves! So this past outfit shoot I decided to listen to the advice of my friends and fellow bloggers and try some photos without sunglasses…just me and the eyes to my sole haha…not really but you get my point. Anyways…Holy Chic, I’m a bit obsessed with this tee from Old Navy, especially because it is on sale now for $10! I love a ‘Look For Less’! Although I opted for a ‘Black & White’ look with my black Forever 21 skater skirt with leather trim and black Steve Madden pumps, I had to add a little extra something…NEON! I found this BCBG neon clutch at Last Call Neiman Marcus (similar available here) and I fell in love!I also wanted to add a little snazz with this rose necklace. Fun Fact…my middle name is rose, a rose for Melissa Rose 🙂 On a side note, I began free lancing for this amazing site called Toovia…has all my favorite things wrapped into one…style, fashion, food, music…you name it they got it…including amazing shopping! The Perfect ‘LBS’ – Little Black Shoe

If you ask me, sometimes you need to start from the ground up…in life and in dressing. What do I mean exactly?

In the words of Rebecca Bloomwood from one of my favorite movies ‘Confessions Of A Shopaholic‘, “Consider your shoe and investment…everything is resting upon it”. The shoes are an essential part of the outfit and each shoe must earn it’s way into your wardrobe (I just love how I can make something like shoes sound oh so serious using quotes from movies 😉 ), anyway, a good pair of shoes is hard to find, and when you are going to invest in a pair, you want a pair that is versatile, gets a lot of use and will go with practically anything…introducing my new term ‘LBS’ Little Black Shoe.

A LBD or Little Black Dress may be a go to for ladies everywhere when it comes to what to wear for any occasion, but what about the footwear? Our go to shoe is 9 times out of 10 a classic black pump whether it’s leather, suede, patent leather etc. Black is classic, Black is chic, Black is never going out of style…LBS, always a safe bet!

In honor of the LBS, I had to put together a ’round-up’ of my favorite pairs that will always be a great investment! (And yes there are Manolo’s and Choo’s involved…making it a true investment!) 🙂
