💕 Pretty In Pink 💕

Ya’ll I am so excited to be back in LA after a hectic week in NYC! While I love the Big Apple, I was so busy I didn’t even have a moment to rest, blog or handle just about anything other than the tasks at hand so being back home is a great feeling BUT while I was in NYC I did shoot some amazing content including this pretty in pink look from REVOLVE!

As you know, I love a good Pop Of Color so when I spotted this Lovers + Friends Dress from REVOLVE I instantly fell in love with it + knew I needed to have it! I headed down to SOHO + while I didn’t do a lot of shopping I did do a lot of photo taking haha The bright design of the dress paired perfectly with the chic cobblestone streets of SOHO.

I pulled the look together with my go-to Gucci Pearl belt, black pumps + pink Chanel Top Handle Bag (one of my newest obsessions)!

I love the color pink, it just brightens up an entire look, makes me smile + most importantly makes me feel good. Life’s too short to not embrace + love who you are, what you are wearing + how you are feeling. This past shoot in NYC made me fall in love with the city again + also made me reminisce on how far I’ve come from the young gal attending college + interning in NYC.

It’s always good to see where you came from to help you envision where you are going!

🧡 Spooky Feels 🧡

Halloween is just around the corner and whether you are heading out trick or treating, going to a party or just heading to the office, everyone can embrace the haunted day in style (even if you aren’t one for dressing up in costumes). While I am not one for dressing up (unless I am heading over to Disney of course heh) I am all about celebrating Halloween with some cute outfits like I did here. Graphic tees, skater skirts + the right pair of shoes and bam you are ready to spooky on all night long hehe :p

I don’t wear graphic tees on the daily but I do when it comes to fun holidays like Halloween, Christmas etc so I went over to Target + stocked up on these fun Halloween tees just in time for 10/31! What I love about ’em is they are so easy to style a variety or ways, I tend to like dressing them up with skirts + heels, PLUS they are always affordable.

For shoes I went classic black with chic pumps + simple OTK boots…must-haves for every girls collection. Linking to them below (don’t worry they are affordable ladies!)

My bag is also perfectly themed for Halloween from GiGi New York – I love their bags because they are great quality leather at an affordable price point + they make such trendy styles but also classic ones that last for years to come.

In A New York Minute…

♥ Be There In A NY Minute ♥

I’m off to NYC today for a week filled of work, photoshoots, seeing friends + family and of course spending some time at my favorite spots in the Big Apple! Whether I am in NY to visit family, have meetings or shoot new content, I always love being back in the city that never sleeps, my true home. I’ve been living in LA for over 5 years now but it stills feels like just yesterday that I was living and working in New York where I was born + raised. I will forever have a NY personality (I am totally impatient, loud, I hustle + I don’t take no for an answer haha) and when I first moved to LA my east coast personality definitely took people by storm.

I am a firm believer that if you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere + that my NY roots contributed to the success I’ve been having even here in LA. NY is a city that allows you to dream, allows you to be who you want to be, achieve your goals + experience new things each and everyday. I learned so many key life skills and career skills from my time in NY + each time I return back I reminisce about my early years in my career, my college years + how far I’ve come…

One of the many things I love about NY is that you can truly be as fun + crazy as you want to be. I love mixing feminine vibes with uptown chic styles, my ultimate style icon being Carrie Bradshaw (as if that weren’t already obvious haha :p) I always wanted to get some fun photos with the famous yellow NYC cabs so last time I was in the city I did this shoot + all of my SATC vibes came to life!

My yellow off the shoulder bodysuit + black tulle skirt are both Amazon finds. I love shopping Amazon when I have specific pieces in mind because it is so easy to just search, find + get what I am looking for right away!

I actually bought this skirt + bodysuit in multiple colors so I mix and match the pieces all the time. These pieces are great to dress up with heels or even make them casual with a moto jacket and sneakers.

I kept my shoes and bag classic. I love this black Chanel Flap Bag + bring it with me everywhere I go – especially NYC for business meetings or nice dinners. My heels are classic black patent leather pumps, a pair every gal should have for work + play.

I also pulled the look together with one of my signature Gucci belts, this pearl one which pairs perfectly with the feminine details of the tulle skirt.

Now I am off to the Big Apple…have a great weekend ya’ll!

♥ B R I G H T Days A H E A D ♥

Fall is just around the corner and that means time to switch up your wardrobe! While I have been stocking up on tons of new fall favs (my full fall style guide is on the way), I really became obsessed with transitioning my bright summer pieces into fall. Case in point? This neon yellow SHEIN dress is perfect for summer adventures AND styled the right way, it is perfect for fall as well. A few key fall pieces like a moto jacket, black pumps + a classic CHANEL can transform any summer look into a fall favorite!

This yellow pleated SHEIN dress has become a favorite a mine for many reasons, mainly because it is an instant pop of color for your wardrobe! The pleated style is flattering on various body types + is chic enough for work or play. Over the summer wear it as is with wedges or sandals and for fall style it like I did here in NYC with a nice moto jacket + black patent leather pumps.

A key piece you need year round is a great moto jacket (honestly I am guilty of owning 10 haha…in various colors + at different price points) anyways, I am linking to two of my favorites below along with another one of my signature go-to’s, black patent leather pumps!

This shoot is from my most recent trip to NYC but I am already itching to go back. I truly love NYC…it will forever have my heart since it is my home born + raised.

While I love living in LA now (endless summer is kinda amazing) I miss the vibe in NYC, the hustle + bustle and when I dream in NYC I dream of living on the Upper East Side with a collection of Manolo Blahnik heels (very Carrie Bradshaw)…meanwhile in LA I dream of a house in Bel Air, a G Wagon + tons of Hermes haha the dream is different from city to city, what can I say.

What I miss most about NY is being able to wander during the day, people watch + get inspired for more fashion forward looks and see street style in real life. In LA you have to drive everywhere so the style you become accustomed to is what you see on Instagram rather than real life.

A classic piece I will wear forever no matter where I go? This black CHANEL flap bag. I love this bag so much since it is perfect for every occasion, well worth the investment let me tell ya.

♥ Tulle But Make It Fashion ♥

Guys, I am a girly girl at heart. I love a feminine moment, a flowy dress, chic pumps, diamonds, glitter + most of all? TULLE! My struggle? Wearing tulle as a grown woman without looking like I am heading my my own ballet recital haha While I embrace being a kid at heart quite often (especially at Disney hehe :p) for everyday life, work, special occasions etc, I try to keep my inner kid in check + be a boss babe. Since I love wearing tulle but don’t want to look too childish I set out on a mission to make tulle chic by styling it with the right extras + I think I nailed it! Breaking it down below ♥

I love this tulle dress. It is so versatile to style for special occasions like parties, date nights + more but I always felt it wasn’t a dress to wear everyday but that all changed when I styled it a little differently.

I paired this tulle dress with a moto jacket, think ballerina after hours hehe :p I tied the look together with a Gucci pearl belt because why not, right?!

You can never go wrong with adding this Gucci belt and moto jacket to your wardrobe. You can intermix these pieces so many ways + they are just so fun to wear!

I always love a good bag + this Gucci mini bag is perfect for any occasion. May look small, but it fits EVERYTHING you need for a night out!

If you are still looking for the perfect bag to invest in, this is definitely a great one to start with.

As for my shoes you can never go wrong with a signature pair of black patent leather pumps like these.
