Ya’ll I am so excited to be back in LA after a hectic week in NYC! While I love the Big Apple, I was so busy I didn’t even have a moment to rest, blog or handle just about anything other than the tasks at hand so being back home is a great feeling BUT while I was in NYC I did shoot some amazing content including this pretty in pink look from REVOLVE!
As you know, I love a good Pop Of Colorso when I spotted this Lovers + Friends Dress from REVOLVE I instantly fell in love with it + knew I needed to have it! I headed down to SOHO + while I didn’t do a lot of shopping I did do a lot of photo taking haha The bright design of the dress paired perfectly with the chic cobblestone streets of SOHO.
I love the color pink, it just brightens up an entire look, makes me smile + most importantly makes me feel good. Life’s too short to not embrace + love who you are, what you are wearing + how you are feeling. This past shoot in NYC made me fall in love with the city again + also made me reminisce on how far I’ve come from the young gal attending college + interning in NYC.
It’s always good to see where you came from to help you envision where you are going!
I am getting ready to pop some champagne, dance on some tables + SPARKLE ✨ OK…maybe not dance on tables hehe…we will be having a quiet night at home but I am for sure ready to sparkle + what better way to do that than with a chic sequin skirt!
I have been wanting to pull off a sequin skirt for years + figured NYE is the perfect time to go for it! The key with a sparkly sequin number like this one is to let it take center stage + not overdo it with the other accessories.
I paired this skirt with a simple black chiffon camisole (to not overdo it with the sparkle) + a fuzzy jacket since whether you are in LA, NY, Vegas, Miami or anywhere else, NYE tends to get chilly + I am always cold so this jacket is style while also cozy.
I went simple with my heels + bag. You can never go wrong with black pumps + a classic Chanel!
I feel every gal should invest in a classic Chanel flap bag (they retain value if you ever want to sell it) + they match with everything. I feel the same way about black pointed toe pumps. I have never put on an outfit that black pointed toe pumps couldn’t match perfectly with.

With the holidays quickly approaching I am sharing some holiday looks that will be easy to put together + last ya well after the season is over! From velvet dresses to a bell sleeve top + skirt combo like this, mixing + matching pieces to create the perfect festive look is one of my favorite parts of the holiday season. Statement making blouses has been quite popular over the past year, so when I got this top in a blogger mail package I couldn’t wait to style it!
I have to say I am loving tops with fun designs or sleeves. They are a great way to dress up any look + make an ordinary blouse dressy!
This top is great to style with pants, leggings, jeans or a skirt like I did here. Appropriate for year round wear for work or play…it makes dressing for the holidays easy.
As for the skirt, this black bandage skirt is an oldie but a goodie. I think a bandage skirt is essential for every gal to own since it’s easy to style with just about everything (especially during the holiday season)!
My shoes + bag are classics that will never go out of style.
Black ankle strap heels are always a good idea – dress them up, dress them down, either way they are an easy go to + will always match with any look!
Oh Chanel – a classic investment that I will be wearing to all holiday festivities this season…I don’t even think we need an explanation here 😉 Do we? hehe
The HOLIDAYS are Here! I seriously can’t believe how fast this year has been going by! Feels like just yesterday was summer (perks of living in LA, no seasons means endless sunshine year round haha). It’s been a year and a half since I moved to LA from NY and boy has it been a crazy ride. Moving from Weho to Burbank, switching up my career from in house to agency life, changing from beauty + fashion to luxury lifestyle…this year has been full of surprises (mainly good, a few eh, but overall…amazing)!
Anyways, one of the exciting clients I work with is the Rodeo Drive Committee (pretty suiting for a gal who loves the finer things in life, huh? :p) To kick off the holiday season, tomorrow is the annual Beverly Hills ‘Holiday Lighting Celebration’ where Rodeo Drive lights up with street performers, festive treats + celeb performances!
In addition to working on this fun event, I have been promoting the charitable endeavor of Rodeo Drive this holiday season with the #RodeoGivesBack initiative! Beverly Hills is a pretty amazing community, the people truly are amazing and I have had the pleasure of meeting so many of them who have in turn, really taught me about the history Beverly Hills + Rodeo Drive holds (call me a nerd, but seeing old photos of Rodeo Drive + the Beverly Wilshire pre–RHOBH is pretty cool if you ask me :p).
One of the best parts about the holiday season is giving back to those in need. Rodeo Drive is helping to give the gift of warmth by partnering with the Salvation Army to collect coat donations throughout November + December! How great is that? This has been just one of the amazing projects I get to work on. I planned a little photo shoot at the Beverly Wilshire with some of my favorite blogger babes to get the word out about this great campaign!
What’s better than giving back around the holidays? Makes the holiday season so much brighter!
Now to break down this holiday look! I have had a love affair with this black tulle skirt for years now. It just reminds me of something Carrie Bradshaw would wear (in fact I did a whole shoot wearing it in front of the New York Public Library here).
I think this skirt is great for the holiday season. You can style it with a simple blouse (like this one) or wear a crop top + leather jacket for an edgier look (the possibilities are endless)!
I love these T-Strap Black Heels for the holiday season. I feel like they are such chic classics!
My clutch is actually a toiletry pouch from Louis Vuitton. I seriously LOVE this and even though it has been sold out at all of the LV boutiques I was able to find it with the help of LYST!

Join me as I party on Rodeo Drive tomorrow night at 4pm!
Happy Monday Babes ♥ I am so excited to share this shoot because I finally spotted one of the most popular places to snap photos at in LA…the Made In LA sign over in WeHo! It’s funny after I moved out of WeHo + to Burbank, I found all of the cool spots to shoot at there haha oh well, guess that just means weekend field trips to West Hollywood! :p
Anyways, another reason I am loving today’s post is because as you may know, I LOVE white jeans year round, especially for summer…and especially when they are paired with stripes! This is one of my favorite affordable combos! My striped tank is just $10 from Target (here) + my jeans are on sale from Old Navy!
I can’t get enough of this striped Merona top from Target. Crazy to think it’s become one of my favorite summer tops considering it’s only $10 (I am stocking up on this style of tank in a variety of prints + colors it fits so well and it is such great quality)!
I feel similarly about my Old Navy Rockstar Jeans. For years they have been my go-to without fail. They have survived countless washes, date nights, weekend adventures + traveling cross country…they are truly my favorite pair of jeans + I stocked up on them in every color 🙂
These black ankle strap heels are perfect for any occasion. I found them on clearance at DSW years ago but found a similar style at a low price point from Oasap (here).
My black sunnies were a J Crew find but found that this RayBan style is verysimilar 🙂
My yellow hobo bag is from Hayden Harnett (no longer available)…I believe they are ‘rebranding‘ but I found similar yellow bags below!
