It’s no surprise at this point that I have a slight obsession with trying out new skincare! I mean can ya blame me? Everyday my skin changes, one day it’s break out city, the next day it feels as dry as a desert! With combination skin like mine, I am always on the hunt for a skincare brand / line that will have the perfect products to care for dry and also oily skin…Colleen Rothschild has just that…and more!

Although I am only 24 (fun fact for all of you who weren’t aware :p) I also need to start thinking ahead to preventative skincare (no…not Botox, I am not nearly there yet haha) but skincare with the proper vitamins and enzymes to keep my skin looking fresh + young…luckily Colleen Rothschild skincare has that covered too!

Some of my personal favorites are:

The Hydrating Mask (my savior when my skin gets extremely dry), the Detox Mask (perfect for my acne prone moments), Beauty Water (I use this as my setting spray after applying my makeup / I spritz it during the day to freshen up) + the Balancing Gel Cleanser (amazing for my morning and night face washes)!

What’s more fun than playing with new beauty + skincare products? N O T H I N G! Duh 😉 I love getting surprise packages and testing out new creams, cleansers and serums because at 24…my skin is far from perfect and I am always game for new products that will help my combination skin…

First up? This True Glow Eye Serum + Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask both from Valentia Skincare. I just turned 24 and apparently now is the time I should start thinking about aging and the proper skin care…so while I am ~~not~~ dreaming of botox just yet (in LA it start at 30…insanity I know) I figured I would start off small with some ultra hydrating and moisturizing products like these ones that smell good and give my skin the glow I need!

Being in LA means I am outside in the sunshine A L O T! While I love getting a killer tan, I try to protect my face from sun spots, dark spots + damage with makeup and creams that have a high level of SPF in them. The perfect product? The Exuviance Sheer Daily Protector. It is light and easy to apply and keeps your skin safe from harsh sun damage (basically a requirement in Cali).

My friends say I am going to have young skin forever since I am still always breaking out and having more issues with acne than I do aging (who knew getting zits was something to be happy about haha)! I got these fab products a couple of weeks ago and they have really helped scrub and clear up my skin in just a matter of days. My personal favorite? The 2-in-1 Charcoal Mask!
