Make Me Up Milani…

P U C K E R UP ♥ There is nothing I love more than some great beauty buys that are amazing quality without breaking the bank. Part of blogging is testing various products out + in my mind, the challenge is always ‘Would I use this instead of the products I have become accustomed to in my everyday routine?’ Today’s verdict…YES! I have been a fan of Milani Cosmetics for a while but when their new Amore Mattes Lip Creme came out, I knew I had to give it a go because any lip products that glide on perfectly + last all day are exactly what I am looking for!

The colors are so pigmented + these shades in particular have a bit of shine to them since they were some of their metallic hues!

These shades are perfect for work, play, date night, happy hour + beyond. They are moisturizing so they don’t dry your lips out + the color lasts all day despite not being a ‘liquid lipstick‘ which still seems to be such a trend lately (honestly liquid lipstick freaks me out since it has a difficult time coming off + dries out my lips haha :p).

While I am currently crushing on these lip glosses from Milani, they still have a variety of products I love to use as well…see my picks below!

It’s no surprise at this point that I have a slight obsession with trying out new skincare! I mean can ya blame me? Everyday my skin changes, one day it’s break out city, the next day it feels as dry as a desert! With combination skin like mine, I am always on the hunt for a skincare brand / line that will have the perfect products to care for dry and also oily skin…Colleen Rothschild has just that…and more!

Although I am only 24 (fun fact for all of you who weren’t aware :p) I also need to start thinking ahead to preventative skincare (no…not Botox, I am not nearly there yet haha) but skincare with the proper vitamins and enzymes to keep my skin looking fresh + young…luckily Colleen Rothschild skincare has that covered too!

Some of my personal favorites are:

The Hydrating Mask (my savior when my skin gets extremely dry), the Detox Mask (perfect for my acne prone moments), Beauty Water (I use this as my setting spray after applying my makeup / I spritz it during the day to freshen up) + the Balancing Gel Cleanser (amazing for my morning and night face washes)!

Time to B e a m + G l o w ♥ One of the things I love about blogging is the ability to test out new beauty products + teach myself tips and tricks all the time! I couldn’t wait to try out these fun new goodies since I already have a love affair with Estee Lauder, so getting to play with these cosmetics is what makes me one happy gal!

This lipstick comes in 12 shades that are total show stoppers. It feels like butter on your lips + has long lasting wear…just what a gal on the go needs ♥

The Esteé Edit Pore Vanishing Stick

I LOVE this product! I never realized how big of a deal pores were until I began working in the beauty industry and watching countless guru videos I saw that hiding pores is one of the first steps to doing your makeup! I love this product because it works, without making me feeling greasy or oily and it gets the job done right! I even use this as a primer — perfect to use before my foundation 🙂

This is replacing my daily moisturizer! It is lightweight, brightening + helps you just glow! Even wearing this under a BB Cream or foundation, your skin truly glows through.

Now this product really excited me! This is a lightweight moisturizer that has a tint of a gold hue so in a way it is a moisturizer + CC Cream all in one! It helps with uneven texture, hydrates + helps with uneven skin tone (I have been breaking out recently so this product has really helped with some of the red spots + marks I have been trying to cover up).

Back To School Beauty Guide…

Although I am not heading Back To School (although getting an MBA has definitely been on my mind lately…but that is for another time haha) one thing I do love to do is to switch over my beauty products from summer to fall so I suppose I am getting my Back To School beauty buys to start the year (and fall) off right! I want that summer glow and smooth skin to last me well into the winner and with these products, it is sure to do so!

To start…smooth skin. With Schick Disposable Razors from Walmart, that great summer time skin can last year round. I always was a fan of swapping out my razors often. Nothing feels better on your skin than a new, fresh razor to get that close, clean shave without any bumps, marks or bruising (which was often a problem for me in the past — but not anymore).

I love how these disposable razors have that extra added hydration my skin needs and are ideal for sensitive skin like mine.

My other fav beauty products consist of my all time favorite, BB Cream from La Roche-Posay (this stuff is literally the best thing I have ever come across) it honestly hides any and every little blemish and red mark, leaving my skin looking flawless all day long.

Some of my other recommendations? St Ives Apricot scrub (feels like a spa treatment every time I use it) + Amika Dry Shampoo (I shared my love for the whole Amika line of products last week here).
