If you ask me, it smells like spring spirit! Bright colors, warm weather with a slight breeze…I have never been happier…can’t ya tell 😉 I feel like I can finally come out of hibernation and be me again hence why I am all smiles in today’s post (plus the fact that I am only a month away from attending Lucky FABB in NYC (see my experience from last year’s conference in LA here) + heading on my trip to LA…may have something to do with that smile haha)
Anyways…you know I love any outfit that involves color, so a blue bag and blue sunnies had to complete this winter to spring transitional look…duh! I actually found this look in my archives of outfits in my iPhoto library…it’s crazy how many looks I’ve shot that haven’t been posted yet. I think I have this fear of not having enough outfit inspo to share with you guys and I would never want haha plus nothing is worse than wasting a great outfit without it being seen right? 😉
Happy Thursday Lovers! Yes, I realize tomorrow is Halloween and it is far into fall, but sorry I’m not giving up my neon obsession! Today I color coordinated my neon Harlow necklace form Kendra Scott with my neon yellow Cambridge Satchel bag…the only way to wear neon right?A little fun fact about me? I absolutely love and live in skirts and dresses…so it can be the dead of winter and I would most likely attempt to rock a look like this…not the most practical but hey sometimes practical is boring if you ask me 😉 The lovely team at Kendra Scott sent me this Harlow necklace which I instantly fell in love with…I bet you can see why. Coincidentally it ended up matching my neon Cambridge Satchel…I’m actually selling it on Poshmark now because although I love neon and this bag…I rarely get to give it all of the face time it deserves…you can shop it here.I LOVE nude ankle strap heels for fall, spring, summer or simply anytime (except for in the snow…that may be a little too much for me to handle haha). I got these beauties at Payless but found a similar pair from 6pm.com here.This initial cuff from C Wonder is not only a great piece for every fashionista to have, but it is the PERFECT gift idea (hint, hint) for your mom, sister, boss, co-worker or your best friend! Who doesn’t love a simple yet chic piece of bling!Now for my ensemble…my purple crop cami top is from ASOS (you can score it now on sale for $10…amazing!). My quilted gray mini skirt is a clearance find from Lord & Taylor and you can shop it here (dress it up like I did or dress it down with some sneakers for a casual look). Finally, my favorite ever go to blazer…LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls…I turn to my white blazer more often times than I do my black blazer. I am constantly trying new beauty products in search of the ‘end all’ for my skin and makeup routine…I think recently, I just about found it! To start, I am a firm believer that your scent remains in the room well after you exit…what does that mean? Make it memorable, and with Juicy Couture’s new ‘Gold Couture’ fragrance…you are definitely bound to leave a scent that is sensual, sultry and berry berry good (had to make a slight witty line…the perfume has a fabulous hint of wild berries).
My next obsession? Kypris Beauty products. I LOVE the Kypris Beauty Elixir 1…made with 1,000 organic Bulgarian Roses (perfect for Melissa Rose huh? My middle name is Rose…little fun fact), this elixir helps provide the right amount of moisture to aid in perfecting that dewy complexion us ladies are always after! The other fabulous potion I tried? The Antioxidant Dew. It helps rebalance your complexion…something that is well needed after all the pollution this fashionista experiences commuting in and out of NYC! I’ve discovered over the past few months that the key to flawless makeup really is healthy skin. That means using products that help well moisturize your skin all over…that’s why Boots Botanics Deeply Moisturizing Body Lotion and Boots Botanics Deeply Moisturizing Hand Cream are my current goto.

Happy Friday Loves! I decided to share the spotlight with a special little someone today, my King Charles Cavalier…Charlie! I love this little guy, he will forever be my prince charming <3 If you have a dog you know the eternal and unconditional love you have for them, Charlie has truly become a family member and is the highlight of everyones’ day…he makes even a rainy day bright & sunny!
