Happy Monday! It’s back to the daily grind and I am already exhausted just thinking about it! ICYMI, something exciting happened on Friday — I got the keys to my brand NEW apartment♥ Ahhh! I finally feel like I’ve made it on my own — I have went from living back home in NY with my family, to moving to LA + having a roommate to now getting a place that is truly my own! That means a sh*t ton of decorating + shopping posts will be happening (my mom + dad have already picked out a ton of stuff for me prior to me even getting the keys haha…safe to say they are just as excited as I am!)Anyways…back to this spring look…denim on denim. I love oversized button downs — especially chambray ones like this one because they match with anything and are super comfortable (my go-to for a casual look)! I paired it with these white distressed skinny jeans — perfect for spring and summer!

A Throwback To Warmer Weather…

They don’t call it ‘Throwback Thursday‘ for nothing…in between watching ‘Best New Restaurant’ on Bravo and getting my camera cleared out for my weekend getaway I somehow ended up going through my entire iPhoto library and came upon this little ensemble…shot back in…drum roll please…July! Yes, July…see that’s my problem ladies and gents because I shoot new looks all of the time some outfits get left in the archives waiting to be discovered and finally this is my ~~oldest~~ outfit sitting in my photo library and it is seeing the light of day! This outfit is so old that my little sister shot this look (she ~~retired~~ from doing my photos shortly after…my brother has shot my photos ever since…keeping it the family ya know 😉 )This outfit is as simple as it gets…a simple LBD paired with bright and bold accessories…what else could a girl ask for? I am pretty sure I got this dress from Old Navy (I honestly can’t even find this dress in my closet…I looked for it while writing this post and I already ~~lost~~ it…hopefully to be seen again once the summer comes…maybe it’s just playing hide + seek haha!). Christmas Eve Glam…

Merry Christmas Eve ladies and gents! Every Christmas Eve my family has the tradition of my siblings and I going to my grandparents house, opening presents and having some quality family time (which due to our busy schedules tends to fall to the wayside). The holiday season is the perfect time to catch up with family, friends and of course…rock some glam pieces from your closet…duh! That’s my favorite part of the holiday season…dressing up 😉 All black everything…jk just my Dora Landa NY Lace & Faux Leather Top and my Catherine Malandrino for Kohls Drop Waist Skirt (which also has hints of lace…can you spot them?). Both pieces are timeless classics and will forever be mixed and matched from season to season.While I went simple with my black on black top and skirt, my accessories definitely added some much need ‘sass‘ to this look. I tend to wear a lot of black around the holiday season because you can always dress it up with the right shoes and handbag and even…jewelry, which is exactly what I did here!My jewelry is from Capwell + Co…scored at a sample sale (both pieces are in my Poshmark closet here + here) because I always try to snag a great deal (luckily with Capwell + Co all of their pieces are affordable!). I found a similar amethyst cuff and amethyst ring (both on sale now) here + here.I instantly fell head over ‘heels’ for A) this gorgeous purple bow bag that is (drumroll please) from Target! + B) these stunning leopard ‘Valentino Rockstud’ inspired pumps (available in my Poshmark closet here).Skirts or dresses are always my go to when it comes to getting ‘glam’ for any occasion and yes that even includes family affairs for Christmas 😉 What girl doesn’t love to play dress up when given an excuse?On a side note…I am SUPER excited to share that Christmas came a little early for me…I got a pretty awesome present and in true ‘Christmas’ fashion, I won’t reveal it till tomorrow when I share some present sharing glam on the blog 😉 So check back tomorrow to unwrap my exciting gift that guess what…will keep on giving!| Click To Shop My Look |
