Are you feeling a little red, white + blue? I don’t know about you but I am all about a fun bold look, especially to celebrate the 4th of July! While this look is a bit dressier than what one would typically wear for your standard July 4th BBQ, I figured why not?…I mean I love a great red, white + blue look…don’t you?
Whether you are heading to a party or heading to watch fireworks, embracing America’s colors is always a good idea if you ask me!
This blue tassel contrast top from Skies Are Blue is the perfect blouse to wear for the upcoming holiday. Whether you style it with white jeans or denim shorts or a fun skirt like I did here, this top is a must have for summer (plus it retails for under $57)!
This white skirt retails for under $20 and is an essential for every gal’s wardrobe. I have styled it so many different ways + it is just a handy piece to have year round. I have always loved skater skirts (so much that I have this skirt in 10 different colors haha :p).
While this red Vera Bradley bag is no longer available, I linked to a few red leather satchel’s like this one from Kate Spade. This bag is a great one to add a pop of color to any look, whether it’s the 4th of July or any look in general, why not brighten things up with a pop of red?
These navy blue ankle strap sandals were a sale find from Macy’s but I am linking to a similar style that comes in various colors here. This style of heel is perfect for work or play. With a mid heel height, they are super comfortable and also stylish.
The July 4th holiday is just around the corner so that means it’s time to get ready for some pool parties, backyard BBQs + plenty of fun! I love the 4th Of July, I mean who doesn’t love to celebrate America + celebrate your patriotism while enjoying burgers, beer + friends! Another reason I love the 4th Of July? Dressing in red, white + blue. While this look is missing red – oops hehe, this fun gingham print is perfect for the holiday. I have been crushing on gingham lately + when I found this beauty from Shop Dress Up, I had to have it!
I am beyond obsessed with this gingham number. With fun frills + an off the shoulder top, it is a fun + flirty look for any backyard BBQ. It fits true to size + is currently available in S,M,L!
I paired this dress with these cute cork wedges (also from Shop Dress Up). They retail for under $35 + are super comfortable for all day wear.
These two pieces are ones worth snagging because they will last you all summer long + honestly well into the fall! Shop Dress Up has become one of my go-to online boutiques for finding current trends for less. From dresses to blouses to accessories to shoes, Shop Dress Up has them all at a price that won’t break the bank!
Seriously can’t get enough of these wedges! When I say they are beyond comfortable, I am not kidding, they are PERFECT for day long wear.
My bag is another summer trend I am loving this season. How fun is this round straw bag? Style it with a blouse + jeans or a cute dress and you are instantly ready for summer fun. You can shop this bag for under $40 on Amazon here!
Will you be trying out the Gingham trend this season?
Let the Holiday Weekend begin! 4th of July weekend is just around the corner so I rounded up some of my Red, White + Blue favorites that are perfect to wear all summer long! I am currently OBSESSED with this tassel tote + I kinda need these Quay Australia sunnies (pretty sure I am in fact a sunglasses addict :p) #SorryNotSorry!
Show off your patriotic side with more of these picks ♥
I can’t believe it is 4th Of July weekend already! I am happily writing this post by the pool at my apartment building since I have the day off today (so thrilling!) and this is actually a little bit of a flashback to LI while also sharing some July 4th style! I realized as I was editing these photos that A) These were shot in March (guess I was feeling patriotic vibes early haha) + B) All of these photos had what appears to be a blue filter over them…I am thinking my brother was having some mechanical difficulties with the camera that day but nonetheless they came out pretty sweet!
