Happy Wednesday Fashionistas!

Today is a crazy day for me because it is the first day of the FFANY Shoe Show in NYC! That means work, work, work for me….followed by tons of killer shoes and great pics to share with you all!

I love this look because it is simple yet chic. My go to is always a nice pair of Val or dark wash denim, like these Flying Monkey jeans from Graffiti Boutique. Pair it with a simple white blouse, layer a nice little vest and add a hint of leopard and I’m sold!

I scored these adorable and comfortable leopard pumps at Target…for how much? $8! Yes people, cute footwear doesn’t need to cost a fortune, or at least mine doesn’t 😉

Happy Tuesday Fashion Lovers! I’m off to the Big Apple for the December FFANY Shoe Show…that means prepare yourself for plenty of ‘shoe’ related photos and posts…best part? They are all styles not yet available in stores..meaning, I’ll be giving you a sneak peek into the ‘Fashion Week’ of the shoe world!

Although I’m just going from Long Island, I don’t know about you but I seem to have a tough time conserving suitcase space and just bringing the bare necessities….so I felt quite grown up when I scored this 30′ inch bright purple suitcase at TJ Maxx with a ‘Maxxinista’ gift card I won! Not only is it my fav color but…it practically paid for itself…pretty awesome if you ask me!

In addition, you know I can’t go anywhere without my trustee Louis Vuitton Neverfull (my pretend ‘carry on’ for the Long Island railroad)!

Another thing I’m super excited about? The awesome photos coming to the blog…I enlisted the help of my little sister Heather and she is quite the photographer…best part? She never requires cash, just Baked By Melissa…sounds like a sweet deal if you ask me!

Happy Monday all!

Although I live on Long Island I feel working, interning and going to school in NYC makes me a ‘city gal’, therefore I’m proud to be rocking this ‘New York City’ tank! I love this look from Graffiti Boutique that not only is a great weekend look but also a hot date outfit, depending on how you spice it up!

Nothing makes a relaxing Sunday better than a great casual outfit. This chilly weather calls for tons of layers as well as some faux fur, a sweater, booties and as always a great accessory or two!

My cozy and casual look consisted of an Abercrombie cardigan, an H&M faux fur vest, 7 For All Man Kind Jeans and Payless booties.

It’s the perfect outfit for running last minute errands in preparation for this week’s FFANY Shoe Show in NYC, where I will be living at the trade show all week! Wish me luck!
