Whether it’s the middle of July or the dead of winter, one thing about my style never changes: I LOVE bright, neon colors. While fashionistas have made neon a staple of spring and summer, neon has become my style staple to be worn year round.
This outfit has that cute, comfy and chic vibe. I pulled my H&M bright, cobalt blue skirt out of retirement from the summer and layered an oversized Old Navy sweater on top of it.
To snazz up the look a bit, I paired the look with my new quilted vest from Old Navy. This vest is a fall must have. You can layer it over sweaters, chambray tops or even a dress. All the bloggers are wearing it, as a matter of fact, Old Navy is truly stepping up their game this season!
From cute blouses to adorable vests and even stylish ankle boots like the ones I’m wearing with this ensemble, Old Navy is on point with the season’a best trends!

It’s Monday! And that means a new edition of ‘Mani Monday’!
This week’s manicure decision was a tough one. Every week I end up going to the salon, grabbing a bunch of different Essie polishes and leaving it up to my manicurist to make the decision.
Without fail, this routine has never let me down. This week I tried a shade from Essie that’s new to me but is from one of their previous years’ fall collections, ‘Bobbing For Baubles‘!
It’s a mix of navy, gray and olive green and I’m absolutely in love with it!
What are you rocking this Mani Monday?

Every fall, one trend is always in style; a chic leather jacket. Every woman searches for the perfect leather jacket that she can wear over any outfit to give her look an instant ‘edgy’ vibe.
It’s difficult to find a leather jacket that has that ‘tough’ look but is also a bit feminine to be worn over a dress or cute top and a skirt like I did today. My biggest issue with leather jackets was having them be comfortable (meaning I can actually move my arms around lol). Every leather jacket I was finding for a while was very structured and didn’t really strike me as a piece I can wear everyday.
However, when I came across this beauty from LC By Lauren Conrad a few years ago at Kohls, it was a perfect fit. Edgy yet cute, comfortable yet trendy, a simply great leather jacket.
Today I rocked my leather jacket with a simple black and white ensemble; a white tee with black trim from Nordstrom Rack and a cute black skirt from Kohls. To tie the look together I pulled out some cute tassel, Oxord heels from my closet that I actually got from Payless years ago!
Oxfords are the perfect fall shoe and these ones gave me that ‘nerdy, let me go study in the library then head out to happy hour’ vibe and figured they’d look totally bad ass with a leather jacket and a cute little outfit!
What do you think? Happy Monday Fashionistas!

Nothing beats a relaxing, laid back weekend! This great fall weather is the perfect time to rock some skinny jeans, ankle boots and a comfy sweater which is exactly what I wore this weekend!
I found this comfy sweater from Urban Outfitters in the back if my closet and decided it was finally time to wear it. I paired it with an old pair of 7 For All Man Kind jeans and my Charles Albert from 6pm.com booties.
What I love about this look is it’s effortless, cute and comfortable….exactly how the weekends should be!

After months of reading magazines like Allure and Glamour talk about the monthly beauty sample revolution I felt like I had to finally test out the system for myself.
The concept is simple, pay a monthly subscription much like one does for a magazine or Netflix and in return receive a box filled with new beauty samples from top brands on the industry. Sounds like a great idea, no? Well I was intrigued, but which company do I go with? There’s Glossybox, Allure has their own box with co-creator Beauty box, Birchbox and the list goes on and on.
Now being a social media maven, I tend to lean towards a company that has a great online presence so I opted for Birchbox. Their social media team really engages with its customers and they are constantly giving us an inside glimpse into the making of each month’s box.
Birchbox costs a minimum of $10 a month. If you want full sized products you can upgrade your box or even purchase the full sized version of products you liked within your box each month and you get a discount on them for being a Birchbox subscriber.
They even make boxes for men and now pre-teens!
What better way to brighten up your day than to come home to a cute, pink box filled with beauty products you’ll want to start testing out right away! Certainly cheers me up after a long day or week at work!
