TGIF! I decided to embrace a little green today with a great day to night essential…a chic pencil skirt! The lovelies over at Mixx Collection created this piece just for me and added a little sexy to a usually ‘professional’ and conservative piece. Now with me…being conservative is occasionally boring…why not live on the edge and sex it up a bit right?Since the skirt was a full ‘Pop Of Color’ on it’s own, I decided the best way to style it was to go neutral! Sometimes you can’t have a color overflow otherwise you look like a rainbow…which in some occasions may be suiting, but for a day to night look I think let’s let one piece pop…the skirt!You can never go wrong with a classy pair of black suede pumps. These ones are by Steve Madden and are super comfortable…once again knowing me they were on sale although I can’t guarantee where from haha {shopping problems} If you guys didn’t get sick of me rocking my black studded Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag then you will love this one 🙂 The size, shape and design of this bag is perfect and now I bought it in a unique color scheme…sometimes one color gets old soooo I opted for brown with a neon trim 😉 Stand out ladies!Layered jewels and chic sunnies are always a good idea my friends. Sometimes the bling and the shades pulls the entire look together…especially classic tortoise shell shades and simple dainty pieces like my Hamsa Hand necklace, Star necklace and Skull necklace 🙂This picture is a bit of a ‘Flashback Friday’ moment not with the outfit, but with how I used to have my dad take all of my outfit pictures in front of my house in the morning before heading to work when I initially started my blog. Now months later I upgraded…to my little sister haha (keep it in the family) and to a nice Canon t3i Rebel camera <3
