I have never been one to shy away from color and my ootd today is no exception. I love bringing an otherwise ordinary outfit to life with a nice ‘Pop Of Color’ as one of my fashion idols Brad Goreski would say.
Think about it. This outfit for example could have been simple and monochromatic: white skirt, black top and a black blazer, but isn’t that boring? Isn’t fashion about taking risks and making a statement, even if people on the streets of NYC think I look like a cup of Spring in the middle of fall?!
I like my outfits to sometimes spark a conversation. Nothing beats random people walking up to you asking where you got certain pieces or what do you do for a living, you must be in fashion. It’s honestly flattering and I love to share my style secrets with everyone!
Today’s ootd is simple, chic and fun. I’m wearing a white faux leather skirt from Lord & Taylor, a black cami from Kohls, Coach black heels and a mint colored blazer from H&M. I found this blazer on the clearance rack a while back and my mom thought I was crazy for purchasing such an ‘out there’ color, but hey for $10 it had to be bought!
Have a happy Tuesday Fashion Lovers!

On this mani Monday I opted to go back to a deep fall color and take a break from my Think Pink manicure I had last week!
‘No More Film’ by Essie is a great Violet tone and it not only matches my ring but also my shoes, now come on, how awesome is that?!
Essie: No More Film
Happy Monday fashion lovers. Time to ‘Rise & Grind’ as Justin Timberlake would like to say and get back to the office.
(If you haven’t seen his hilarious video with Jimmy Fallon about hashtags go watch it now!)
Today is a very odd weather day in the Big Apple. It’s warm, muggy, humid and may or may not rain, so what’s a girl to do when she has no idea what they day will have in store for her? Go with a simple yet chic outfit of course!
For this dreary Monday I decided to dig in the closet and wear something I haven’t laid my hands on in a while. This cobalt blue top with black puffed sleeves and embellishments from LC By Lauren Conrad. Hey, gotta start the week with a bang and what better way to do that than with some retro looking sleeves that are bedazzled?!
I paired this fun top with a simple, black lace skirt from Target and classic black pumps from H&M. Voila! The perfect Monday ensemble, and if it happens to rains I have my trustee ballet flats in my bag at all times because when your a city girl, you have no clue how the day will turn out and there is always a new adventure!
I also decided Mondays are meant to be bold, so I spiced up my look with a nice red lipstick called ‘Red Haute’ from Ulta. I love this color for day or night and red lips are a fall essential!

Skirt: Target $10
Shoes: H&M $25

Tuesday night marked the 20th Anniversary of one of the biggest charity events in the footwear industry, QVC Presents ‘FFANY Shoes On Sale’.
Year after year my company partners with QVC to host an annual gala in which we sell high end designer shoes for half off the suggested retail price at the Waldorf Astoria and all the net proceeds go to Breast Cancer research and awareness. In addition to the gala, QVC sells thousands of other brands that donated free shoes to us on QVC Live & QVC.com. This year the LIVE broadcast is Oct. 10th from 6-9pm est (I will be live tweeting during the program on the @FFANYShoeShow twitter and Instagram accounts!)
Back to my gala experience! What’s not to love…discounted shoes, a great dinner, star guests and of course tons of treats and dancing.
This year out Spokesperson was Julianne Hough who hosted the evening and was an absolute doll! We also had guests like Beth Stern, Star Jones, Kristina Bowden and Aerin Lauder.
As for my shoe scores? Yes, I snagged a pair of Gucci heels covered in Swavorski Crystals and a fantastic pair of Coach heels I’ve been lusting after for a while.
The evening was fantastic and you can relive my evening with all my photos below!
Be sure to Shop QVC.com the whole month of October to support the event and tune in to the live broadcast Oct. 10th from 6-9pm EST!
