Happy Weekend Loves! It’s time for another weekend wish list and this weekend’s theme is all about fall! I am super excited for fall fashion…not necessarily fall. What can I say I’m a summer gal 😉 {Click Each Item To Shop Direct}

Just because I love summer doesn’t mean I’m not looking forward to some fabulous fall looks…which I will start putting together this weekend (tons of outfit shoots in the works)! I’m currently lusting after a few pieces for fall…can you blame me? New seasons = new excuses to buy things!

I love the Pashli bag from 3.1 Phillip Lim, especially in the orchid color shown above. Yes, I know a bright purple is more summer than fall but hey if I can make it work, I will. I also love a great nude lip for fall and actually year round, this Tom Ford shade is flawless…just what I needed. It wouldn’t be fall without a chic moto jacket…luckily my pick above is from Forever 21! Affordable and stylish…now that’s fashion at it’s finest 😉

TGIF! Happy ‘Funday’ Friday Loves! While this casual Friday ensemble wasn’t shot on a Friday, it was definitely shot on a Fun Day 😉 haha ok so that was corny I know…want to know where ‘Funday Friday’ really came from? Well…it’s actually a sarcastic comment from my trainer at the gym…Friday’s are cardio day AKA…Funday Friday.I don’t even want to think about what today’s work out has in store for me…so instead let’s focus on this cute chambray look 😉 Better distraction if you ask me! My chambray button down top was a ‘Shop Genius’ find from Nordstrom Rack. I love Chambray and it’s a great transition piece from spring to summer to fall to winter…wear it with absolutely everything and anything. My white cotton shorts are from Abercrombie. I’m trying to get in my fill of summer clothing before fall hits NY. Shoes always make the outfit and I LOVE these silver Converse kicks. It’s crazy to believe they have been hiding in the back of my closet ever since freshman year of high school! To know me means to know how obsessed I am with neon! This neon Cambridge Satchel is another oldie but goodie…I got this when I was a freshman in college. I guess I like mixing old and new what can I say 😉I truly love all of these shots because I enjoy being by the water, especially on Long Island during the summer. These photos were taken on the ‘Nautical Mile’ in Freeport NY if any of you guys are familiar. It’s a perfect Long Island summer spot. Shop My Look Below<3

Happy Thursday Honey Bees…somewhat appropriate for today’s post entitled ‘Buzz Buzz’. As if it weren’t already obvious, I’m rocking some black & yellow today and other than reminding me of the lyrics ‘black & yellow, black & yellow, black & yellow’ from Wiz Khalifa (somewhat rap obsessed), this look reminded me of a honey bee 😉 Little Fun Fact…Melissa in Greek apparently means Honey Bee, got to love when your parents buy you little poems and sayings as a child telling you all about yourself before you even know who you truly are! Ok, so this shot is my all time favorite! I looked and thought wow I look confident and sexy…while I try to have that attitude everyday, sometimes it doesn’t always happen, but in today’s post it definitely shined through, don’t you think? My bright yellow jeggings are from Hue. I love their bottoms because they flatter every figure…stretch is always a must for me when it comes to find the perfect pant, you want them to hug all the right places…work it at all times. My black silk top with a sexy little cut out in the middle is from ASOS. I’m definitely not adventurous enough to wear it without a black bandeau underneath, but I think it still does the trick. Back to my Rebecca Minkoff obsession. Another fun fact…I own the ‘Mini Mac Bag‘ in 4 different colors and I am still always tempted to buy more. It is a great going out bag; whether it’s a day trip or just a girls night, it has enough room for beauty essentials, your keys, wallet and anything else a gal may need. These fab black lace up heels are from Target! I love when designers make ‘Look For Less’ collections with affordable stores and these beauties are from the Prabal Gurung for Target collaboration a year or so ago.Shop My Look Below<3

Happy Wednesday Loves! While I love to wear fun and casual outfits, sometimes I need to play dress up and act like an adult (just sometimes 😉 ). I’ve discovered it’s become easier in today’s day and age to not only dress office appropriate, but stylish as well. It’s all about hemlines, cuts and colors. I enjoy a great ‘Pop Of Color’ even when it comes to office wear!My ever favorite white boyfriend blazer is from the LC By Lauren Conrad collection at Kohls. I realized all of my blazers are pretty much from that collection…what can I say I’m a gal that gets stuck on what I like, is that a crime? 😉 My cobalt blue blouse is from Old Navy. It adds just the right amount of color to stand out at the office without being inappropriate. I love my black scuba skirt from Target. The scuba fabric has been a summer favorite as well as a personal favorite of mine! Now for my shoes, as if I haven’t already shared the deets on these a bunch of times, they were a Payless find! Yes, I will forever be stunned that I found my perfect nude ankle strap sandal at Payless…it was the best purchase I had ever made there! My snakeskin envelope clutch is from Target. I love how unique it is. I was never a big clutch fan (I always need a huge bag to carry everything including the kitchen sink) but for some reason I fell hard for this bag the moment I spotted it…I’d say the $8 price tag helped contribute to the love affair as well 😉 Sometimes dressing professional isn’t as boring as it seems 😉 Or at least when it comes to me it isn’t! Happy Monday Loves! Time for another busy but productive summer week! I couldn’t wait to share this bright look with you that I shot in Soho 2 weeks ago when I brought my little sister to meet Melissa Ben-Ishay, the Melissa behind the bite sized phenomenon that is Baked By Melissa! My sister is a huge cupcake fan…while i love to indulge every now and then, sweets aren’t my thing…comfort food like Mac & Cheese, Popcorn and Chicken Fingers are…me and popcorn have a love hate relationship. I love it like no other when I’m eating it but within a few hours I instantly regret the salty, dry and sluggish feeling I get after over doing it at the movie theater…because obviously movie theater popcorn is simply the best to have right? :p Anyways, back to today’s look. My peach top is from Old Navy. Button Downs are great for the office, but sometimes white and black can get a little boring, so since I love color, why not stand out with a little peach! My white shorts are from Abercrombie (most likely the clearance table in the back…none the less, a total win). I LOVE both my shoes and bag I’m wearing in this shot. My bag is from Last Call Neiman Marcus, it’s actually their own brand and it reminds me of the Maison Valentino Rockstud Tote. These gold block sandals are from Anne Klein (Traven Sandal) and what I love most about them is the fact that they match wit everything, can be dressed up or down for work or play AND they are super comfortable. Anne Klein has really comfortable footwear, one of the very few brands that can appeal to my style side and my comfort side! It wouldn’t be a complete outfit without a little bling right? I enjoy layering delicate pieces like my Hamsa Hand, Skull and Star necklaces. It’s simple yet chic.
