Happy Friday Loves! I got a special little package the other day from Lysse and I couldn’t wait to style this top…yes ladies and gents this ‘white dress’ is actually the Lysse Cold Shoulder Top with Inner Control Tank. I decided to be adventurous and order it in a larger size so I can rock it as a dress AND as a top…versatility…that’s the best thing to incorporate into your closet 🙂 My necklace is from Sparkle Republic Jewelry and I’d say it definitely sparkles 😉 One of the things I love about blogging? Getting to try out new brands and showcase them on my site! My shoes are from…drum roll please…Payless! I love nude strappy sandals! They are gorgeous for every occasion and nude elongates your legs! My neon satchel is from Steve Madden, while it’s no longer available, I found a similar one from Michael Kors! Sorry but I love my mirrored aviators…definitely wearing them year round and I’m convinced I look bad a** with them 😉 Or at least I’d like to think so! Happy Thursday loves! So this past outfit shoot I decided to listen to the advice of my friends and fellow bloggers and try some photos without sunglasses…just me and the eyes to my sole haha…not really but you get my point. Anyways…Holy Chic, I’m a bit obsessed with this tee from Old Navy, especially because it is on sale now for $10! I love a ‘Look For Less’! Although I opted for a ‘Black & White’ look with my black Forever 21 skater skirt with leather trim and black Steve Madden pumps, I had to add a little extra something…NEON! I found this BCBG neon clutch at Last Call Neiman Marcus (similar available here) and I fell in love!I also wanted to add a little snazz with this rose necklace. Fun Fact…my middle name is rose, a rose for Melissa Rose 🙂 On a side note, I began free lancing for this amazing site called Toovia…has all my favorite things wrapped into one…style, fashion, food, music…you name it they got it…including amazing shopping! Happy Wednesday Loves! I love putting unexpected pieces together to create awesome looks…as my mom likes to say I put things together that look ‘weird’. Well while it may be weird to some, it’s fashion to me 😉 That’s what personal style is all about! I also attempted to put my hair up for a photo…I was digging it till my brother aka my photographer simply said ‘no’ while shaking his head…so the hair down it is.While I love denim shorts for a great casual look, I thought, why not dress them up with a simple white blouse and a crisp white blazer for a sophisticated look? Well here it is! To snazz up the white and denim basics, I paired my look with one of my obsessions, the Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag (I have two…both monogrammed with my initials…I may or may not have a slight designer addiction). Did you know that Louis Vuitton monograms all of their bags for free in store? Yea, I discovered this years after buying mine and they still did it for me! Now that’s customer service!My shoes were sent to me from Carolinna Espinosa. I love these sandals because of the thick block heel…we know what that means, comfortable! They are called the ‘Allentown‘ sandal and they are available now at Nordstrom.My white blazer is from my favorite line of blazers…LC By Lauren Conrad. Seriously all of her blazers fit me perfectly…I have yet to find another brand that suits me so well. The denim shorts? Abercrombie! Their shorts always fit me perfect…pretty surprising considering I’m not a 16 year old girl which is usually who wears their clothes, but hey I think Abercrombie is stepping up their game! My simple white printed blouse is from Old Navy (probably a clearance find…I never spend regular price there! I always find a coupon or a deal when it comes to Old Navy).Shop My Look <3

Happy Tuesday Loves! Can you tell I was listening to Destiny’s Child while writing this post? ‘Say My Name’ is one of my favorite songs and my other bit of inspiration for this post was Bravo’s new series called ‘Jersey Belle’ where Jersey native Jaime Primak Sullivan leaves the world of cannolis and the Sopranos for the preppy and fully monogrammed town of Mountain Brook, Alabama. I love how there was an entire episode just about how much southern women love their monograms. Bath towels, shirts, even underwear…all with their monograms…a little overboard, but nonetheless I’m kind of obsessed myself! Shop Dandy has all the monogramed pieces you are craving (they are a Southern boutique, so it’s only fitting they stock up on monograms!). I bought this lucite pencil holder (which I so cleverly turned into a places to store my makeup brushes) and an oversized signature key ring…it solved the whole loosing my keys in my oversized purse problem instantly 😉 I also love C wonder for great monogrammed pieces. I’ve gotten signature cuffs and jewelry boxes from them. Helps me remember who I am on days that I get so busy I practically loose my mind 😉 I also love Graphic Image New York / GiGi NY for some great leather and monograms…clutches, planners and phone cases…all with my stamp of approval, my initials <3Shop My Picks Below <3

From Day To Night…

Happy Monday Loves! I hope you had a fun filled weekend like I did…lets’ just say it involved some shopping, outfit shoots and…blogging. Just Kidding (not really), but I also spent some quality time with family and friends and ventured out on Long Island. So I learned while working in NYC that it is essential to have a great day to night transition look. A great outfit to wear from 9-5 but that can easily be ‘glammed’ up or down for happy hour. I think I finally found the perfect ensemble. I’ve seen a lot of ladies rock crop tops to the office…while I think it’s daring, I still opt to make the look a bit traditional by adding a chic black blazer paired with a printed high waisted skirt like this one from Prabal Gurung for Target (love a great Look For Less collab). I always have to add a ‘Pop Of Color’ to every look, so queue the cobalt blue quilted clutch. I scored this bag on sale at Lord & Taylor last year, but everyone always assumes it’s designer…don’t you love when that happens? My first pair of shoes for the ‘day’ look are from Nine West. These black booties are simply stunning and they are comfortable too. A great shoe to wear year round. Now for my ‘night’ portion. Not much changes except loosing the blazer and adding an even sexier shoe.My shoes are also Prabal Gurung for Target (I found similar one’s from Nine West available now). These are my ‘sexy’ shoes. Comfortable for a night filled with dancing, but also classy enough for a nice dinner. I simply love this look, now I just need somewhere to go!Shop My Look<3
