    Mani Monday – ‘CatWalk’

    20131104-145606.jpg
This week’s ‘Mani Monday’ is featuring a color I have never worn on my nails before: Red!

As always, I went with an Essie color called ‘CatWalk’. Naturally I had to get it because come on, who doesn’t want to feel like they are walking the ‘CatWalk’ everyday?!

I accessorized my mani with my new Timex Style watch, Capwell + Co bling, Nordstrom bangles and my fav red leather bracelet from Fringes Of Faith!

    A Touch Of Reptile

    20131104-072959.jpg
It’s a chilly day in the Big Apple and that calls for pants that’ll keep you warm and layers you can peel away as things heat up throughout the day.

Today I’m ‘rocking’ my reptile print ‘Rockstar’ skinny jeans from Old Navy. First off, let me just say that Old Navy’s ‘Rockstar’ skinnies are the most comfortable jeans I’ve come across in a long time. They come in a bunch of different colors, patterns, textures and fits making them wearable for almost any body type.

Since the pants are printed I opted for a plain white top and layered a black faux fur vest by Karen Kane over it for a little extra ‘oomph’.

I love this look because it’s stylish, comfortable and keeps me warm in this chilly Manhattan weather.

Hope everyone keeps warm on this Monday!

    Top: Old Navy: $15
Vest: Karen Kane $25 (on clearance at Lord & Taylor)

    My Dry Bar Adventure

    20131004-095521.jpg

A few weeks ago, I finally had the chance to test out ‘The Dry Bar’ in NYC!

I had to prepare for the big FFANY ‘Shoes On Sale‘ gala at the Waldorf Astoria and needed gorgeous hair in a hurry.

Right when I walked in I was offered either Champagne, a Mimosa or Wine and there was plenty of sweet treats to snack on.

The atmosphere was amazing and I loved the layout of the ‘bar’ itself. They washed, blew out and curled my hair, just like how I requested and the best part? It was all for $40! Most salons charge for the blowout then extra on top of that for the styling, but not Dry Bar!

Also as I was there posting pics from my experience on instagram, their social media team was very responsive and was asking how it was going! How much better can customer service get?

I can’t wait to go back and have sexy Victoria’s Secret style hair on a budget!

    Saks Off Fifth Online!

    20131002-115439.jpg

First TJ Maxx launches their online store and now as of a few days ago one of my favorite outlets, Saks Off Fifth announced the launch of their e-commerce boutique to shop great designer names at affordable prices!

Can life get any better? I think not!

Seems like retailers everywhere are noticing just how important a great online presence is, not just an in store experience!

    Fur & Florals!

20131001-073141.jpgToday called for a simple, comfy and easy look. I will be running around all day in preparation for the huge 20th Anniversary of QVC Presents ‘FFANY Shoes On Sale’ tonight hosted by the lovely Julianne Hough!

This outfit was an easy go to. Perfect to wear to the office then to the salon and to the hotel to get ready for the black tie gala. Stay tuned for tons of pictures from tonight including my killer outfit I scored at an amazing deal, but back to the day ensemble.

I’ve had a little obsession with Abercrombie lately, so I wore this flowy floral top with my black Karen Kane vest over it, a blue knit skirt from Urban Outfitters and new cut out suede booties from Payless!

I love these booties because they are comfortable and affordable. They are identical to ones I’ve seen from Steve Madden, Sam Edelman, etc but these were only $40 on sale while theirs all cost about $100 or more!

Once again this outfit can be dressed up or down. Throw the vest over the floral top and it instantly is dressier and it pulls the entire outfit together!

Happy Tuesday Fashionistas & stay tuned for coverage of tonight’s event! I will be live Tweeting, lnstagramming and Facebooking from the ‘Pink’ Carpet!
