    Sweater Weather!

    20131112-074127.jpg
It’s a chilly and rainy one today in NYC so I felt what better post to do than on some of the best sweaters for fall into winter from one of my favorite stores, Graffiti Boutique!

I partnered up with them to share with you my favorite fall/winter fashions and these looks are some of my favorites featuring comfy and cozy sweaters and a great pair of jeans from ‘Flying Monkey’, one of Graffiti’s top sellers!

Graffiti is a store I’ve been shopping at since I was in middle school, they are based in LI, NY close to wear I live, but now Graffiti has expanded their horizons to the web where every fashionista can get that killer look without breaking the bank!

I’m obsessed with each of these sweaters and what’s great about them is that although I am wearing them here with jeans, you can also pair them with leggings, a skirt or even shorts and tights, whatever your fashionista intuition is telling you to do!

You can shop my looks below from GraffitiBoutique.com & receive 15% off your order till the end of November with the coupon code ‘MissyOnMadison’!

One of the ‘must have’ shoes of the season are Charlotte Olympia’s ‘Kitty Flats’. Now while Olympia’s retail for a whopping $825 (available at Nordstrom), I have found some affordable alternatives!

The Leopard Smoking Slippers I’m wearing under ‘Must’, I found at Nordstrom Rack for $35, beat that Charlotte Olympia!

    If Only….

    20131108-091745.jpg
Imagine being able to illegally download clothes into your closet.

Anything from Chanel to Hermes in your closet at the click of a button? Oh what a wonderful place the world would be.

Can some genius work on this idea? Possibly turn it into an app? Please and Thank You!

    A Bit of Blue & D’Orsay

    20131108-073654.jpg
TGIF! I don’t know about you but I am thrilled its Friday and that means time for a 3 day weekend (since Monday is Veterans Day)!

Today’s outfit once again breaks fashion rules. In the spirit of wearing white after Labor Day, I chose to rock these white ‘Rockstar’ skinnies from Old Navy. I love the fit of these, not to mention the fact that they only cost me $6 on clearance!

A little piece of advice, always stock up on spring and summer clothes in the fall and winter season and vice versa. The sweater I’m wearing today I got at Old Navy two summers ago for $10…yes a total steal.

I pulled the look together with casual black D’Orsay flats from the Nine West outlet (see link below for identical ones from Chinese Laundry at Nordstrom).

To top it all off I rocked my new cobalt blue quilted leather bag I got on sale at Lord & Taylor! (Stay tuned for a lust vs. must post featuring the bag that inspired this purchase!)

Now I’m off to another day in the chilly big apple!

    Happy Friday Fashion Lovers!

    Shop My OOTD:
    Sweater: Old Navy $10
    Pants: Old Navy $6
Bag: Paradox at Lord & Taylor $99
    Shoes: Nine West Outlet $40
*Cameron Silver for Nine West D’Orsay flats $79
*Identical D’Orsay flats from Chinese Laundry at Nordstrom $55

    White For Fall

    20131107-072954.jpg
The old saying goes ‘You can’t wear white after Labor Day’, however being a breaker of most fashion rules, I decided that one of my fall ‘must haves’ is this chic white blazer from LC By Lauren Conrad.

I love how it breaks up the look by adding a brighter tone rather than just plain black on black. I brightened the look up even more with an orange chiffon top from Old Navy.

As always, you can never go wrong with a pair of classic black pants, especially ones that fit you well! I love these black work pants from Kohls!

I also decided to do something a little different this morning and curl my hair!

    Happy Thursday Fashion Lovers!

    Shop My OOTD:

    Top: Old Navy $7 (clearance)
    Pants: Kohls $20
Blazer: LC By Lauren Conrad $30
    Shoes: H&M $25
