I am gearing up for a festive NYE complete with club bed + DJ pillow :p hehe What can I say, my boo + I aren’t big party people so we will be enjoying watching the ball drop in our pjs following a romantic dinner. Even though we are just heading to dinner, I love to get dressed up + make a splash (or should I say…sparkle hehe) so I will be rocking this look for New Year’s Eve.
I have been wanting a sequin blazerFOREVER + when I got this beauty I fell in love. My BF looked at me like I was crazy but I assured him with the right outfit…it will work 😉
I had to let the blazer do the talking so I paired it with my trustee lace trim camisole (a perfect layering piece for every gal’s wardrobe) + faux leather leggings. These leggings are my absolute FAVORITE. I wear them for date night, girl’s night + all the time basically – they are flattering on pretty much every body type + can be dressed up or down for any occasion.
For some added ‘bling‘ factor I pulled the whole look together with my fav Gucci Pearl Belt (another must-have if you ask me :p).
If you are looking for a great investment bag, this Chanel flap bag is definitely it! I actually shared my Guide to Investing in Designer Bags a few months ago…check it out HERE.
I am getting ready to pop some champagne, dance on some tables + SPARKLE ✨ OK…maybe not dance on tables hehe…we will be having a quiet night at home but I am for sure ready to sparkle + what better way to do that than with a chic sequin skirt!
I have been wanting to pull off a sequin skirt for years + figured NYE is the perfect time to go for it! The key with a sparkly sequin number like this one is to let it take center stage + not overdo it with the other accessories.
I paired this skirt with a simple black chiffon camisole (to not overdo it with the sparkle) + a fuzzy jacket since whether you are in LA, NY, Vegas, Miami or anywhere else, NYE tends to get chilly + I am always cold so this jacket is style while also cozy.
I went simple with my heels + bag. You can never go wrong with black pumps + a classic Chanel!
I feel every gal should invest in a classic Chanel flap bag (they retain value if you ever want to sell it) + they match with everything. I feel the same way about black pointed toe pumps. I have never put on an outfit that black pointed toe pumps couldn’t match perfectly with.

Whether you are trying to find the perfect dress for NYE or even one for a girl’s night or winter date night, I am all about the gold vibes this season. I love when a holiday dress can be transitioned to year round wear, so this off the shoulder gold one is perfect. While it is festive enough for the holiday season, I will for sure be wearing this for my next date night + maybe even Valentine’s Day :p I am all about re-wearing pieces you can style over + over again.
I love this chiffon like material (although I am not one for ironing or steaming haha :p) but it is so feminine + flowy, making it one of my go-to’s. Style it with boots, style it with heels, style it with flats…it is always a must-have for every gal’s closet.
I linked to some similar styles below that are sure to stun this NYE.
As for heels, I went with my go-to nude patent leather pumps. These are ones I believe every gal should have in her shoe closet. They are perfect for work, play or just about any occasion. I say it’s worth investing ins a high end pair that will last a while since you will get a ton of use out of them.
My clutch is an oldie but a goodie. If you are looking to get a Louis Vuitton bag but at an affordable price, this clutch is perfect…it is the Toiletry Pouch 26 and retails for under $500.
While I am in full on festive mode, I am planning ahead to NYE. We are still trying to figure out our plan of action for the big night but one thing is for sure…I will be embracing a little SPARKLE! From sequin skirts to glitter heels to a gold dress, I am rounding up the best options for you to rock on New Year’s Eve along with styles you can wear to all of your holiday parties, date nights + even save some for Valentine’s Day (don’t you love when pieces can be worn over + over again…making them well worth the investment :p).
♥ All Our Dreams Come True If You Have The Courage To Pursue Them – Walt Disney ♥
Close your eyes + take a moment to image visiting the happiest day on earth during the most magical time of the year…now open your eyes because it is possible! From dreamy decor to yummy treats to festive events, gifts + more, Disneyland during the Holiday Season is nothing short of magnificent.
I had the opportunity to check out all the fun the park has in store for the Holiday Season + am sharing it all with you!
DECOR + EVENTS
One of my favorite things about Disneyland year round is all of the amazing decor, so it comes as no surprise that during the Holiday Season they go ALL out! From huge Christmas trees, to gorgeous lights, wreaths + more, you will feel like you are in a Winter Wonderland, so I am rounding up some of my favorite spots.
At Disneyland one of my favorite spots is Main Street USA where the entire street is strung with lights, wreaths + at the center sits the most gorgeous Christmas Tree making for the perfect photo backdrop.
During the day you can look up and see wreaths shaped like Mickey Mouse, the huge Christmas tree, festive plants, flowers + more.
At night the street is lit up + looks like something out of a story book.
Of course another one of my favorite decor moments at Disneyland is Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. It is covered in wreaths, icicles + is glistening making for a storybook finish.
Every evening there is an enchanted show at Sleeping Beauty’s Castle where the building has a projected light display AND they even make it snow in California (talk about magical :p).
At 9:30pm every night there is a Holiday fireworks show where you can hear your favorite holiday timed perfectly to sparks in the air!
If you are looking for a breathtaking lights display, head over to the ‘It’s A Small World‘ ride. The entire outside of the ride is decked out in a rainbow display of lights that is something out of a fantasy…I definitely want to be immersed in that fairytale.
Another one of my favorite decor spots in the park is Mickey’s Toon Town. Goofy’s House is decked out for Christmas along with Mickey + Minnie’s homes as well. The bright, bold colors make Mickey’s Toon Town my go-to spot for cute instagram pics.
RIDES
ICYMI – Disneyland + California Adventure changed up some of their attractions for the Holiday Season making them a ‘must see‘ before it’s too late!
At Disneyland they switched up the traditional Haunted Mansion ride + let Jack Skeleton from Nightmare Before Christmas take over with his twist on the classic ride. The Haunted Mansion ride has always been my favorite + this festive version blew my mind. From neon displays to insane sculptures, you MUST check it out before it goes away January 9th!
It’s A Small World also got a festive upgrade during the holidays so definitely check that out to see all the new elements it has to offer.
Over at California Adventure, Cars Land is fully decked out for the holidays. Think Christmas trees made out of tires, traffic cones, hubcaps + more plus Mater’s Tow Ride got a holiday twist to make it even more fun for kiddos + adults alike.
TREATS + SHOPPING
Ok…obviously one of my favorite things to do at Disney is go shopping, especially during Holidays. The stores are stocked with festive gifts for you, your friends, family + more. We got some holiday themed Mickey + Minnie dolls, custom ornaments + stockings. Most gift shops at both parks have a customization station where you can purchase merchandise and they can go ahead + make it personalized to you.
One of my favorite things to get at Disney is new Minnie Ears each time I go + during the holiday season they have a ton of new styles to choose from like ones with faux fur, ones with snowflakes, big bows + more.
For treats, meals + desserts, each park has a variety of foods with a holiday twist. I love heading to the candy + bakery shops on Main Street USA for Mickey themed rice krispies (which were made festive with a santa hat), red + green cupcake pops, candy apples + more.
I don’t know about you but I am a HUGE popcorn buff + apparently during the holiday season Disneyland + California Adventure have exclusive holiday themed popcorn pals (I love collecting these). At Disneyland they have this adorable one of Pluto in a Christmas Sweater + at California Adventure they have one of the Alien from Toy Story with Christmas lights around him.
California Adventure also has a ton of holiday meals for their Feliz Navidid celebration which has a parade, treats, drinks + more! It’s like walking into a festive paradise. If you want to see a full roundup of the yummy food around the park, check out the guide on Disney’s site here.
Be sure to check out Disneyland’s Holiday Celebration before it’s too late. The festivities end January 9th!
