Happy Humpday! The holiday weekend has me all messed up this week (I was about to just write ‘Happy Tuesday’ oops :p) anyways…it may just be Wednesday but I am most certainly ready for the weekend! I am officially moved in to my new apartment…decor and all (stay tuned for my home tour post…nothing better than decor for less that looks ‘Carrie Bradshaw esq) and I can’t wait to throw a little housewarming party and begin enjoying the perks of living alone! It still feels unreal to me to wake up to peace and quiet, sunshine and tons of natural light…#MyHappyPlace. My other ‘happy place‘? I love a chic LBD for work, play and anything in between, so while I love wearing an LBD…sometimes it’s nice to switch things up! I decided to do a little twist on a classic look by opting for an a-line perforated leather skirt paired with a simple crop top + a light pink moto jacket (yes…a moto jacket in a neutral color other than black is perfect for summer)!

I kept my accessories simple and they are ‘look for less‘ affordable versions of timeless classics. I have been dreaming of buying the quilted classic Chanel bag, but for now…while I am on a budget and spending all of my money on interior decor for my new apartment (haha #oops), I decided this Rebecca Minkoff Affair Bag is the perfect alternative!

My shoes are inspired from the Valentino Rockstud Pumps. I can’t remember exactly where I got these, but I found an affordable option from Sam Edelman available at Nordstorm here!
