Happy Friday! I wish I was more upbeat about the weekend but I am sitting home sick (ugh). I got the flu shot the other day and within 24 hours I am sick…this happens without fail every year…when will they come up with a shot that doesn’t make me sick after getting it jeez :p And I am sure all the traveling and airport waiting areas didn’t help either…On a brighter note, sick days = Law and Order SVU + Chicken Noodle Soup…I guess things can be worse right? (plus I am finally catching up on blogging which I feel like I’ve been slacking on the past two weeks — ever get that feeling? Where everything is happening all at once and you just need a little break?) 🙂This outfit is perfect to wear to work this fall and is a little flashback from my NYC days! It was shot just days before I got the news that I would be moving to LA (crazy to think I have been here since June now) and totally forgot about it :p Shabby Apple always has chic pieces that are great for work or play but this midi skirt is perfect office attire if you ask me — not too much leg…just the right amount 😉

I paired the midi skirt with this chambray button down shirt for a little retro vibe…I feel like a button down shirt tied like this is so cute (and just a tad sexy) reminds me of a pin-up girl what can I say. And of course these white pumps made a transition into fall because why not 😛

It wouldn’t be a ‘Missy’esq outfit without a bright red bag and this one did just the trick! And my signature black sunnies are a ‘must’ for the fall season. Plus I needed something to brighten my mood after this long exhausting week!
