Woohoo and cheers for the weekend! I have been seriously anticipating the arrival of the weekend because I am ready for some spring vibes and sunshine 😉 Who is with me on that?! I can’t wait to shoot looks without totally freezing myself to bits and I definitely have seeing James Franco and Jonah Hill’s new movie ‘True Story‘ on the agenda for the weekend…the trailer has totally sucked me in! Plus staring at Jonah Hill and James Franco for two hours is pretty much a guaranteed way to have a splendid weekend haha!

Another reason I am anxious for the weekend? The fact that it’ll be warm enough to wear more of my favorite skater skirts like I am in today’s post! If I could wear skirts and dresses everyday of the week I would. I hate wearing pants…I prefer to show a little leg and feel girly at all times what can I say…I am a dork from time to time :p

All of the pieces I am wearing in today’s post make for great transitional items to keep handy in your closet from season to season! I love faux fur vests and this gray hue is ideal for spring since it’ll match perfectly with lighter spring shades. Pair it with a patterned blouse like this striped shirt and a simple skirt like this black skater skirt and you are all set for date night, girls night out or even just a family dinner!

Don’t you love when you are having a good hair day and it is captured in a photo? 😉 I swear if I don’t curl my hair it looks blah but the second I put a little effort forward into curling it…it’s va-va-voom!

My shoes are bag are great picks for spring, summer and fall. I got these maroon Calvin Klein wedged booties last year and they are still one of my favorites. The wedged heel is comfortable and the burgundy hue is perfect for any season. And because I need to ‘pop‘ cue the cobalt blue bag (similar from Rebecca Minkoff here)!
