Happy Labor Day Loves! While the old saying goes ‘No White After Labor Day’, there was never a saying about not wearing white ON Labor Day π Who am I kidding, I don’t follow the rules…I wear white year round, but this gorgeous white eyelet dress is definitely a summer piece, especially a summer celebration dress!Β These photos were actually shot over a month and a half ago…any of my bloggers out there shoot things and totally forget about them? Well that was the case with this fab look! My white eyelet dress is actually from 3 years ago…my mom scored it on clearance at Macy’s. I must say white eyelet dresses are so classy and chic, I automatically think Sunday brunch or walking on the beach…so I had to shoot this on the Nautical Mile on Freeport, LI…a strip of bars, shops and restaurants right on the water πMy heels are from the Kate Hudson for Ann Taylor collection. I got them for $9…yes $9 a year ago! Don’t worry I found similar strappy cork heels from Aldo at 6pm.com πΒ My bag…Rebecca Minkoff duh! The ‘Affair’ bag is my go to for absolutely everything! On a side note, my orange nail polish…one of my favorite summer shades…is it bad that I want to rock neon orange year round? oops!Β Still not loosing the mirrored aviators…deal with it π I just love them! (PS if you look close enough you can spot my little sister Heather snapping the photo!)I’m contemplating transitioning this dress into fall…any tips? Share your ideas with me by commenting below! Happy Labor Day…live it up & be safe <3Shop My Look <3

September 2, 2014 at 3:45 PMI am. I grew up on the North Shore in Dix Hills. Growing up, the only mile I went to was the Mircle Mall on the North Shore that had the best shopping. After college, I got out of my little bubble, made friends w/ppl on the South Shore & was introduced to the Nautical Mile. My favorite restaurant is Hudson & McCoy. Not sure if it’s still there. Restaurants move in & out of the mile it seems. Now I live in the city in the Kips Bay area.
September 2, 2014 at 4:47 PMToo funny! I live in Dix Hills…it is definitely a bubble and I’m usually in Manhattan a lot, but what a small world! I live over by Otsego and Candlewood (where a lot of my photos are taken) I go to the Nautical Mile occasionally haha and yes, Americana Manhasset is my savior <3
September 2, 2014 at 4:50 PMSHUT UP! I grew up on Tamara Ct which is at the bottom of the hill on Bagatelle. Right down the street from Temple Beth Torah. My mom is still there. I went to private school my last 3yrs of school but would have graduated from West. I hear DH has changed some. (more diverse as they opened up a few boarders ) or so my mom said. I went to Dartmouth for undergrad, that was a bubble as well but no complaints. I love this connection.
September 2, 2014 at 5:08 PMToo funny! My friends live off wilmington haha and yes I would have went to HS West but I transferred to East to graduate a year early and then went to Hunter College π
