Happy Memorial Day everyone! I’ve already shared some awesome MDW sales with you so that leaves time for me to enjoy the rest of this gorgeous weekend! While this may come as a surprise to some…in addition to loving fabulous clothes, I kind of have a thing for classic cars…all American Muscle baby 😉 I’m such a daddy’s girl and something I will never get too old to do is to go cruisin around Long Island in the Chevelle with my dad <3

One of my favorite spots to go to on Long Island isn’t the Hamptons or Montauk, but Huntington. I love being by the water, the boats, the tranquility…and it always brings back memories of my childhood. Every Friday night during the summer I’d beg my dad to go driving in his 1972 Chevelle SS (with a 454…apparently that must be mentioned because that’s a ‘Real Man’s motor) anyways, he would always drive us down to Huntington. I would think I was so cool in that car and it always got compliments, honks and stares…I guess in a way I felt like a little celebrity haha! The car is an absolute beauty. The cherry red exterior, white leather interior and the sound of the engine roaring let’s everyone know that summer is here! Trust me, it’s much needed after the harsh winter us NYers had! (No Polar Vortex Here!) This was one of my favorite shots from the afternoon. My dad fully supports my blogging and he was who used to photograph my outfits every morning before my sister took over. Leave it up to a dad to know how to shoot his daughter for her blog haha 🙂
