Happy Easter Sunday to all of those who celebrate! It’s finally starting to feel and look like spring here in New York, however I’m still having dreams of California, and that means reliving one of my favorite outfit shoots with Kristi…visiting the beach in Santa Monica!

While I most certainly wouldn’t wear this look to the beach, I am totally embracing the pastel colors for Easter, spring and warmer moments to come. This white perforated skirt was a huge hit at Lucky Fabb and felt I had to give sufficient outfit details here on the blog 🙂

I was thrilled to be able to walk along the beach in Cali and feel the sand between my toes while doing this shoot. The day we shot these photos in LA, it was thunder storming in NYC…that right there is reason enough for me being grateful for the fabulous backdrop I got in these photos!

The skirt and top are from Lord & Taylor (purchased on the same day mind you…I was having a lucky bargain shopping day 😉 ). The shoes are by Anne Klein at 6pm.com, anytime pink comes in to play I feel like a winner!

The bag is vintage Louis Vuitton from Paris passed down from my mother…now you have a little idea about where my need for luxury handbags comes from.

Because we shot at the beach you know I had to rock some killer shades…I love these from Sunglass Warehouse because they are identical to the Prada sunnies but at a fraction of the cost!

The necklace is always a statement piece and is from H&M two years ago (sorry for all of those still lusting after it, don’t worry below I have a similar option 🙂 ). This necklace is one item I will definitely be wearing today because the colors totally remind me of an Easter egg…what can I say, I like to be festive 🙂
