It wouldn’t be the spring season without permission to rock some white and stripes! While I am never one to follow fashion rules, I definitely love being able to wear white when the weather is actually warm and suiting for it 🙂 This shoot is my first of many where I will take photos on different parts of Long Island (where I am from) rather than simply in my front and back yard! Yes…I know it’s about time!

Since Long Island is known for it’s fabulous beaches and scenery, I decided to head to the docks and shoot a white & nautical ensemble!

While the look itself is simple: a classic white button down from Old Navy and a chic navy blue mini skirt from Nordstrom, my favorite parts of the look are my shoes and accessories!

The shoes are by Blowfish…a brand I haven’t worn since I was in middle school, but they are getting pretty stylish for gals of all ages! My white oversized tote, perfect for the beach or for the office is from Henri Bendel.

I’m so thrilled I finally got my hands on a chic wrap watch. This one is from my Lucky Fabb goodie bag and is by La Mer. I had to add my gold accessories to be all ‘blinged‘ out 🙂

I love the whole nautical trend because it’s so casual, classy and chic. It’s a look I feel comfortable in and a look I think is timeless and will never go out of style <3
