    Maintaining My Hair With Hairdreams…

ICYMI – for years now I’ve been wearing Hairdreams hair extensions to achieve my ‘dream hair’ (hehe) of long length and thick volume since my natural hair is pretty short and fine, not able to hold a decent style for more than an hour. I forever struggled with wanting that gorgeous Victoria’s Secret looking hair full of voluminous curls looking ready for anything, so that is why over the years I’ve been thrilled to use Hairdreams to give me the hair I’ve always longed for.

To some, hair is hair, to me it’s everything…it makes me feel confident, beautiful, happy…it makes me feel like me! Even if I don’t do my makeup and just walk out the door with a messy bun of my thick extensions or leave my hair naturally wavy, I instantly feel good which in turn puts me in a happy mood. This may sound silly, but hey, everyone has something that makes themselves feel confident; and for me it happens to be my Hairdreams hair.

So how did I manage to still have great hair days even while in lockdown in California for about a year now? Well, again, Hairdreams is to thank. Something I’ll never forget is my grandma in NY texting me about 3 months into lockdown restrictions, asking what I’m doing about not being able to get my hair done etc (she was struggling as well with not having someone to style her hair which also is something that makes her feel good). My response surprised her as it does for many others…I wasn’t worried about getting my hair done because thanks to Hairdreams I only ever get my hair done twice a year.

Yup, you heard me right…these long locks last me about 6 months, and I have been able to stick to this cadence for the last few years now. Everyone seems so surprised to hear this, but unlike a lot of other extensions, Hairdreams are top-tier quality and with the right maintenance and care, it can last you a very long time. My stylist uses the Laserbeamer Nano to apply my extensions and I barely even have to come in for maintenance.

So while everyone was feeling stir crazy needing a trim or color etc, my Hairdreams lasted me the first 6 months of quarantine and when California opened up for a short time in the summer I was able to swap out my extensions which I’ve been wearing ever since, even during the latest round of lockdowns.

While how my hair looks is far from a top priority during the pandemic, it’s something that gives me a little bit of confidence and happiness while sitting at home social-distancing. It feels nice to look in the mirror and feel like myself even when the world around us feels so out of control.

Hairdreams helps make my everyday beauty routine easy. Instant, perfect hair each and every day without constant salon maintenance is something that has been extremely handy this past year. While the future is uncertain when it comes to an end to this pandemic, the one thing that I can be certain of is that my Hairdreams hair will last me while waiting for the time it’s safe for salons to reopen again.

    REVOLVE Holiday Looks…

House Of Harlow Dress || Red Heels || Gucci Bag

     🎄 MERRY MISSY🎄

I can’t believe how quick this year has gone and that Christmas is just days away! It feels like forever ago since life was normal pre-masks, pre-COVID, pre-staying at home etc. This holiday season is definitely different this year when it comes to going places, seeing people and overall how we are in the world but that doesn’t mean there can’t still be plenty of holiday spirit. Personally, something that puts me in the holiday spirit is dressing up, even with nowhere to go…so I put together a few festive outfits featuring my favorite REVOLVE finds below!

This outfit is one of my favorites from REVOLVE for the holidays. This House Of Harlow wrap dress is super comfy, stylish + is as chic as can be. I love a wrap style dress and this one is great quality. I paired it with red ankle strap heels + a red Gucci bag. This outfit just screams Christmas dinner or holiday party to me…if only I had somewhere to go hehe.

When I put this outfit together it gave me total Blair Waldorf Gossip Girl vibes so yes I will be wearing this next time I am in NYC for the holidays, strolling down 5th avenue looking at the gorgeous window displays…till then I will cherish this look in my closet. This L’Academie Sweater is a favorite of mine because it is so soft + cozy, great to style a variety of ways and will always be timeless. I paired this sweater with a plaid skirt, Gucci Belt, red Gucci bag + black over the knee boots.

Here’s another fun holiday look that was made from a summer into fall piece. I had this Camila Coelho off the shoulder dress I wore over the summer and fall but wanted to transition it to holiday so I layered a red trench coat over it, added a Gucci belt, Valentino bag + red ankle strap heels. This is the perfect holiday party look, if only there were parties to go to!

This is what I call my Gingerbread inspired outfit. I styled a L’Academie dress from REVOLVE with a simple white Gucci belt, red Gucci bag + red pumps. I love this look as this dress can be styled so many ways throughout the year and with a few easy accessories it is instantly perfect for holiday!

Which REVOLVE look is your favorite?

Finding My Dream Dress With Demetrios Bridal…

    ♥ FOUND THE DRESS ♥

Disney Wedding planning is underway and with all of the uncertainty currently happening in the world one of the parts of wedding planning I was most looking forward to was finding my dream dress! I am beyond excited to share that Demetrios Bridal reached out to me to help me find my dream gown and let me tell you they didn’t disappoint! Prior to my appointment Demetrios Bridal let me know they were doing a Trunk Show at one of their stockists, Mon Amie Bridal in Costa Mesa, CA so I decided now was the time to try on some gorgeous dresses and find the ‘ONE‘!

Prior to my appointment I sent over some of my favorite styles from the Demetrios Bridal website over to the team to assure they had those top picks of mine at Mon Amie Bridal. Since I am having a Disney Wedding at Walt Disney World I knew I wanted a princess style dress…a ball gown with tulle and some embroidery and sparkle…something that felt like Cinderella so I was beyond excited when I got to Mon Amie Bridal with my bridesmaids in tow to begin trying on some gorgeous gowns!

The team at Mon Amie Bridal was beyond sweet + helpful, they had dresses perfect for a Disney Wedding from Demetrios already pulled and they all were flawless so it was quite a tough decision. Here’s a look at some of my favorites I tried on that made me feel like an angel!

The dresses were all so beautiful and it was a surreal moment to actually step into some of these gorgeous gowns. I definitely shed some tears + got pretty emotional. My maid of honor facetimed with my dad in NY so he could give his opinion and it was fun to get a guy’s perspective haha But he cried and we experienced all sorts of emotions thinking about me walking down the aisle.

What I love about Demetrios Bridal is that their gowns feel so unique, special + feminine which is exactly what I was looking for…something dreamy, magical + one of a kind. Demetrios can even customize the dress to my liking which I am so excited about because I am going to add some pretty sleeve detailing to the style I chose (which you will have to see when I walk down the aisle).

The entire Demetrios Bridal collection is impeccable…whether you are looking for a ball gown or an A-line or a mermaid style etc. They create gorgeous dresses for every type of bride which is what made me feel so at ease when picking and choosing different styles.

It was so fun to also add a veil and bouquet when trying on the gowns…it really helped me envision what I would look like on my big day. I am still deciding on my veil but I did pick my dress that day after trying on a variety of styles…it was a tough decision but I went with a gorgeous ball gown which I can’t wait to share with you all!

A big thank you to Demetrios Bridal for helping me find my dream dress and Mon Amie Bridal Salon for the amazing experience for my dress try on! All photography shot by Vanessa Hicks Photography.

     🎃  SPOOKY MOMENTS  🎃

I’m back to reality this week after spending a magical week in Orlando at Disney World to kick off the fall season as part of #DisneyCreators! I had the amazing opportunity to hang with other influencers + experience everything new for Halloween at Walt Disney World Resort from new merchandise to tasty treats to spooky decor + more. There were so many favorites so here’s a few Halloween highlights I wanted to share with y’all!

    THE DECORATIONS

One of my favorite parts of Halloween at Disney World are the festive decorations. Nothing makes me happier than seeing Mickey pumpkins line Main Street and this year they are back in full force along with fall leaves and adorable signage.

    CHARACTER MOMENTS

Since there are no character meet + greets currently at Disney World as part of their safety guidelines for COVID, there are fun character cavalcades that go around the parks at various times throughout the day. I loved the Halloween ones at Magic Kingdom like the one with Winnie the Pooh and friends dressed up in Halloween costumes or the Nightmare Before Christmas float complete with spooky music from the movie + more! This was one of my favorite parts of Magic Kingdom to keep the spooky spirit alive and well.

    MERCHANDISE

You know I love stocking up on new Disney merch and the new goodies didn’t disappoint from Spirit Jerseys to Popcorn buckets to Ears to Plushes, Decor + more…I love all the spooky must haves and definitely stocked up on a ton from ShopDisney and from WDW!

Villain Clue was a must have + I couldn’t wait to buy it and I can’t wait to play it!

    THE FOOD

OK, other than stocking up on merch you know one of my favorite things to enjoy during Halloween at Disney World are the yummy treats! From desserts to drinks to savory snacks + more, Disney never disappoints when it comes to the food! One of my favs? The Pumpkin Spice Milkshake – how cute is it?

I also LOVED the Pumpkin Spiced Waffle Sundae + Orange and Black Sugar Churros. Honestly all the food is way to yummy! Full food roundup on the Disney Parks Blog!

While there are more safety precautions in place this time around, it didn’t make the experience any less magical, in fact smaller crowds, more opportunities for photos + short lines for rides + food! It was pretty magical if you ask me!

P.S. I made it to the Disney Parks Blog if you want to check it out HERE!
