I am always on the hunt for the perfect lipgloss (I am such a lippie addict – lipstick has always intimidated me, plus I have thin lips + am not a huge fan of the whole lining my lips then coloring them in with lipstick process :p) BUT one lip product I can always get behind is a great lipgloss! One brand I have been a fan of for years when it comes to amazing lip products is Buxom Cosmetics. From their unique kits that have everything you need to ‘pucker up’ to individual glosses that my purse is currently filled with…they have great shades, at a fair prize, that are amazing quality – win/win!

So I know this isn’t the main focus of a beauty review but I have to say I absolutely LOVE their packaging! Their glosses are sleek, chic + a great size to fit in any of my going out bags. My personal favorites are their lip polishes that come in over 90 colors (without a doubt you can find a color that matches your mood or look)!

They go on smooth + last me all day (and night) so I don’t have to worry about doing multiple touch ups throughout the day. They come in shimmer + metallic finishes and while they look great, they also keep your lips hydrated (my biggest struggle is dry lips because of my skincare regimen to combat acne – my skin gets dry quite often + that sometimes extends to my lips).

My second favorite gloss? The Buxom Full On Lip Cream! It applies smooth, the color is rich + long lasting AND it comes in 20 different shades. My favorite part? It feels like butter on your lips! Who doesn’t love that?!

This gloss has no shimmer BUT it helps plump your lips (no fillers required haha :p)

Embracing My Curls with SheaMoisture

#HairGoals for the win! Every gal wants a good hair day, the struggle however…finding the right products to get you there! Being a beauty influencer, I have tried multiple brands of hair care products from high end to drugstore brand + each had traits I liked but none of them had the whole package (as silly as that sounds). I tried the 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Head To Toe Nourishing Hydration, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo, Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner.

All of the products are readily available at my local Walmart store or you can order online and pickup in store too. I love doing this at Walmart because it’s super convenient when you realize you are running low on product and forget to pick them up.

The Curl & Shine Shampoo Coconut & Hibiscus + the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner (LINK) have become my new go-to when I wash my hair. They help smooth my hair and avoid frizz, make my hair easier to brush through to avoid tangles + knots from my extensions AND they leave my hair with a shine as if I just left the salon. I washed my hair the day before I curled it and look at how shiny my hair looks a day later!

The 100% Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Head to Toe Nourishing Hydration is great for when my color treated hair needs a little extra attention. It helps restore and hydrate it after a little too much bleach, chlorine or sun. It also smells delicious (don’t you love when your hair smells so good all you want to do is sniff it all day? Haha :P)! This product is also great to use after washing your hair and letting it air dry. I tend to wash my hair a day or so after I use styling tools on it and I feel like my hair is begging for hydration so I usually wash and condition and then follow up with a treatment like this one. I will allow my hair to air dry in order to give it a break from the heat for little while.

Pampered At Parfaire…

Last weekend I had a full on day of pampering at Parfaire Medical Aesthetics in Pasadena (because what better way to spend the weekend than with a little self love at the spa? :p) I have always been an avid believer in treating yourself, taking time to recharge + relax and to keep a healthy skincare routine going. My struggle? Having enough time to do all of that! Between work, blogging, events + travel, making time for pampering + recharging can be a challenge (do ya feel me?)…

I hope ya’ll had a great weekend – I sure did minus my flu like symptoms coming back but hey I guess that’s just what’s happening this season. One thing that always cheers me up (even when feeling sick) is taking care of my skin. Every time I apply new products to my skin I get excited to see the results + I feel like I am giving myself mini spa treatments (as corny as that sounds). Being a beauty blogger comes with the perks of being able to test out new products all the time but not all of them are winners + I get hesitant when it comes to trying products on my face since I have sensitive skin (if you’ve been following my blog you know I struggle with acne prone combination skin).

Today I am sharing my feedback on Ebanel Laboratories Skincare line available on Amazon!

From face wash to acne treatments to moisturizer + more, Ebanel Skincare is a one line that I am currently obsessed with because they have great quality products at an affordable price. I have tried out a few of their products + wanted to share what I am loving about them with ya’ll so maybe you’ll take the chance + give them a whirl! Great skincare is always a good idea if you ask me!

I tend to experience breakouts quite often + am always on the hunt for new treatments that accurately treat acne but don’t dry out your skin…that’s why when I tried the Ebanel Skincare Acne Spot Treatment I was beyond excited because it reminded me of the Mario Badescu Dry Lotion which I have loved for years but sometimes it dries out my skin.

The treatment is amazing! Simply dab some of the product on any acne spots you may have (even if you feel a zit coming on – this always happens to me) it really gets rid of any acne spots! It’s fast and effective so it zaps those zits away so they don’t get in the way of any special moments to come!

I’ve also been using the Ebanel Skincare Brightening Peel Gel Cleanser every morning and then the Ebanel Skincare Sherbert Stem Cell Cleanser every evening. The two cleansers work in different ways but both provide amazing results.
