Jean season is coming back around…although I wear skinny jeans year round, during the hot summer months I tend to live in shorts, skirts and dresses (why wear jeans when those can be worn whenever right? :p) Well now that fall is quickly approaching, distressed skinny jeans have been on the top of my ‘must have‘ list…along with a cute denim vest to really work the whole ‘denim on denim‘ trend.

I still love to wear pastels and light colors well into the fall. This is a great summer transition outfit because you can incorporate your spring and summer favorites and layer a denim vest over them to add that extra layer for brisk fall weather (not that I think the weather in LA gets all that chilly, but who knows haha)

This mint green scalloped top (similar) was a spring favorite of mine (I had the most adorable look I shot with it but it was on my Mac Book Pro that crashed on me a month ago…ugh technology sucks sometimes) and I figured hey, pastels aren’t just for spring/summer anymore…it’s 2015 we can totally rock this in September…October…maybe even November *gasp* hehe. Paired with these Target denim, it’s perfect for the cooler months to come.

Accessories are definitely geared more towards summer but I think styled the right way they can be year round…heck I wore these white pumps back in February for Valentine’s Day 😉 A little snow in NY couldn’t stop me from wearing my favorite heels!

White pumps are hot right now…I am seeing them styled a million different ways and this pair from Steve Madden at Nordstrom is a great affordable option and they are comfortable!

My candy printed clutch from RedBubble is perfect whenever you need a little something sweet with ya without wasting your calories for the day haha! JK it’s for show…not to eat :p Although it does look quite delicious doesn’t it?
