When I headed to Palm Springs two weeks ago, one of my ‘must see‘ stops was the Cabazon Dinosaurs! Basically I am a kid at heart, so the thought of being able to take photos with a real life dino (kidding obviously haha) was a dream come true! :p Ok, so maybe they weren’t actually alive (if they were I may be a tad more ~~terrified~~ + probably wouldn’t be modeling a new outfit in front of them haha) but they were pretty awesome to see and were a great place to show off some of my new pieces I will be transitioning from summer way into fall!

Let’s start from the top…my cropped denim jacket which I am totally obsessed with thanks to Max Jeans! It is a stretchy denim material that makes for a comfortable fit that allows me to move freely all day long (traditionally with denim jackets I struggle with the feeling of being ~~restricted~~ but not with this one!). I am in love with the hardware detailing and fringe edging all around the jacket because it adds a ‘glam‘ yet ‘edgy‘ vibe to any outfit!

I paired with with a simple black chiffon camisole and white cotton shorts for an easy summer look that can be dressed up or down based on accessories (and boy did I brighten things up with my shoe + bag picks for this look!).

Now for the fun part…my bright shoes + bag! My shoes are from JustFab (similar here) + are super comfortable because the heel is only about 4 inches (sometimes lower heels are more practically for everyday looks and I am slowly becoming ok with that haha for my poor feet’s sake).

My bag is from Hayden Harnett and I am swooning over the quality of it and the color. The ‘lemon‘ hue is ideal for summer and also fall to match with neutral tones that are always prevalent during the autumn season. The bag can be worn as a hobo, shoulder bag or as a cross body…the versatility is amazing!
