Happy Friday everyone and sorry if I haven’t been on my A-game when it’s come to blogging lately…between a big move to LA, a new job and attempting to find my dream apartment on a budget, I have been slightly swamped to say the least (whoever said if you can make it in NY you can make it anywhere clearly wasn’t referring to finding a decent apartment in LA or being able to drive without a ton of traffic every 5 blocks…) So yes…the struggle is real and living on your own is no joke…so to distract myself…an outfit I shot in Meat Packing before i headed cross country to make it on my own 😉

I’m sorry if I am repeating variations of this outfit ten times over but I simply love this Old Navy denim jacket and this striped skirt…whether worn separately or together, the combinations are endless 😛 Plus they match with everything so they have become my new go-to pieces for work when I am in a rush to try and avoid traffic on the 405 (anyone have suggestions on how to avoid this? I am open to anything!)

As you know, I always need some color, so I added this Kendra Scott pink necklace and my Kenneth Cole blue satchel (which has been a big hit in LA btw!)

No outfit would be complete without the perfect shoes and I have been obsessed with these GoJane.com open toe booties since the moment I spotted them on instagram <3 I was searching for the right pair of open toe booties that can transition from season to season and by George I think I found them 😉 PS they are currently on sale for $30.99! Amazing, I know!
