Mondays are made for…new spring outfit inspo. I hope everyone had a great weekend (I know I sure did!) and had a Happy Mother’s Day! I spent my weekend embracing the fabulous weather and beginning my search for perfect clothes for my upcoming trip to LA! It is quite challenging to find trendy, sexy yet cute and casual picks that are ideal for a little getaway…sooo safe to say my search rages on…

But on another note, today’s look is cute, casual and reminiscent of fall with the maroon hues mixed with plaid (a little throwback to when I wore colorful plaid in the fall months).

To be completely honest when I shot this look with my brother I was questioning it…I thought that it didn’t match, it wasn’t spring colors and I questioned ‘what was I thinking’ after reviewing the photos haha Naturally my brother’s response to my endless annoying questions…’This is the best outfit we shot so far’ (this was out of 8 looks) so clearly my brother may have better fashion sense than me haha Who knew!

So back to the outfit. I paired this black and white plaid button down with a maroon skater skirt, black aviators and tan block sandals (I LOVE them).

Handbag wise, I kept things simple with my black Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac Bag. And yes…I know I tend to wear it all the time :p Plus, I think it will be in my suitcase for Cali because it is perfect for day time adventures or a night out in Beverly Hills (it’s my affordable alternative to a Chanel hehe…working on it…)

In addition to prepping for LA clothes wise I think it’s about time I get myself back into a gym routine and prep for the beach in Santa Monica…I am the first to say I love to eat…more so I love to eat sh*t…popcorn, fast food, soda…I am addicted to anything salty and more so anything that comes in the form of being fried…it’s such a curse so in order to get myself in check I need to attempt to get my lazy a** to the gym (easier said than done lol) So here’s to a fresh new week hopefully consisting of gym trips everyday! (wish me luck)
