We are at the halfway mark…it is Wednesday and the weekend can’t come soon enough. I’m not sure if it’s the weather or if I have just been completely overwhelmed lately, but I have been so
exhausted to the point where I find myself half asleep when attempting to blog (sorry if I begin rambling and not making any sense :p) When organizing my iPhoto library (one of the many things on my to-do list) I came across this look shot pre-winter snow and forgot how much I LOVE a black floppy hat.
In the spirit of Coachella this weekend, I definitely plan on incorporating this hat into future spring looks…because this is my mild version of a flower crown haha :p Speaking of Coachella, I really wish I was going to be there this weekend, but no…I get to stay here in rainy NYC #SoNotFair
This was one of my easy looks to wear in the winter because layering pieces is all I wanted to do to
avoid wearing oversized puffy sweaters and cardigans which would leave me sweating (I get overheated easily)…my solution? A light weight sweater like this black and white striped one and a quilted vest. Both of these are great pieces to wear well into spring and to make them have more of a ‘spring‘ vibe, pair them with white skinny jeans like I did here!
I got this Kelsi Dagger leopard satchel over the summer in time for fall and I am thinking I can still wear it for spring as well…I mean why not right? My boots are most likely getting retired into the back of my closet until next year because the suede definitely heats things up when running around NYC.
