Happy Thursday Loves! NYFW has been insanely busy…between shows, parties and events my head has been spinning! One of my favorite shows / presentations so far has been ‘Fashion Shenzhen‘.
The runway show held at Lincoln Center and the showcase held at the Hudson Hotel both showcased different Chinese designers: Lizzy, Ellassay and Haiping Xie…while I may not be able to pronounce all those correctly (my apologies) I definitely can tell you that I loved each and every last piece!
First things first…I am in LOVE with Lizzy…the Chinese Designer behind these beyond gorgeous dresses that took everyone at the show’s breath away. Embellishments, tulle, crystals and more were all used throughout the collection…I seriously want to wear one of these beauties to the Met Gala…that is when I am invited one day 😉
This mermaid dress was a stunner…the photo doesn’t even do it justice…I’m obsessed <3
Next up…simple, chic and elegant with Ellassay…
I love the classic silhouettes and the ability to wear them to work! Last but not least…Haiping Xie…filled with tons of color, unique prints, textures and even some interesting frills and thrills in terms of attachments! And here are some shots from the presentation which featured the designers above as well as some additional Chinese designers…the print on the skirt below and bag I am in love with!
How unique is this look…I feel like I would see this ensemble in London back in the day.
My favorite color…purple! What do you guys think of the collections? Comment below <3
