Happy Tuesday Loves! Here’s my first NYFW Runway show recap! I absolutely loved attending the Katya Leonovich show at Pier 59 during Nolcha Fashion Week part of NYFW which shows off new and emerging designers! I loved this dress…it’s bondage mixed with a classy night out dress that also shows some leg…now this is a date night ensemble. This ivory number is great for a special event like a wedding or a baby shower…I love the fabric and how it is weaved together…so unique! Purple is my favorite color and this is one fierce look! I definitely wouldn’t mind hanging by the pool in this number! I absolutely love this top! It’s flowy and easy just like what I normally wear and it has a high low hemline which is subtle.
This dress is pretty unreal. I love the pop of pink and the neat lines.
Love this touch of pink! My pop of color for spring and summer.
Something I learned about Katya? She definitely doesn’t shy away from showing some skin…there was a little nude action but all for fashion nothing too risky 😉
And here is the lady of the hour…Katya Leonovich 🙂 I enjoy her ability to take risks while also putting out chic fashions every gal could wear.

I remember how excited I was to attend NYFW last year. Such a cool experience. Thanks for sharing photos of Katya Leonovich’s collection. These are the first I’ve seen online.

September 10, 2014 at 2:18 PMMorning Missy. Looks like you had a great view from your seat & took some great shots. I was there but I ask, did she have any structured pieces this year. Last year her collection was much smaller & lacked structure. And for that, I don’t think her clothing is for every girl. Most girls need to have onset waistbands or darting to create definition on their bodies. 90% of the girls out there don’t have tiny waist & small rib cages (like the models). Regardless, her pieces are rich in color, texture & visual creativity. Curious to get your thoughts. (i only know one other person that attended the show & I’m waiting on their take)

All of her pieces were pretty flowy…the only structured pieces were a few swimwear pieces and some cocktail like dresses!
